Story
He is an 8-year-old seal point Siamese (turning 9 on June 23) that we adopted as a kitten and has been a loved part of our family ever since. He is neutered and front declawed. He is very sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented—he enjoys attention, being near his humans, and has done great with children (including being around a baby) and dogs. He is fully litter box trained, but in a multi-cat household he has shown stress-related marking behavior. Because of this, we are looking for a home where he can be the only cat or in a very low-cat environment where he can feel secure. He would do best with an experienced owner who understands cat behavior and can give him a calm, stable space. He is a loving, gentle companion who thrives when he has a strong bond with his person. He should be an indoor-only cat.

Story

Meraki would do best in a calm home without dogs and with older children or adults who can respect his space while he settles in. Story
Pretty Girl is ready for her forever home 💙 After spending her life living outside and having babies, she’s officially retired from motherhood and looking forward to the safe, cozy indoor life she deserves. She’s a quieter soul who loves chin scratches and who will thrive in a calm, patient home where she can build confidence at her own pace. She is cat selective, so she may do best as the only pet or with a very respectful feline friend. Her favorite pastime? Perching by the window, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the world go by from the comfort and safety of indoors. 🪟🐾 If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart, she just might be your perfect match. Give her the second chance she’s been waiting for. Pretty Girl has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which can make her more prone to infections. FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent catching an illness and should be fed a balanced, nutritious diet, like all cats should. A wellness veterinary exam should be done annually to ensure your FIV+ cat’s ultimate health. FIV is not contagious — it is spread thru DEEP bite wounds from fighting. 📩 Contact her foster Jenny at 8165883276 for information

Story
Sadie is a gorgeous girl — tall, lean, and graceful, and all who see her will marvel at her beauty. She has a very Siamese-like personality...likes things to be on her terms. She loves being petted and will come to ask for attention and may lay beside you, but just not on your lap. She is not favorably impressed about being held onto (not unusual among adult cats), and has clearly expressed this dislike. She indicates her displeasure with tail tapping or twitching, so it is easy to know what she does and doesn't like. And of course, we always want to know those things so we can respect their wishes, right? She tolerates a cat we suspect to be her sister (Pretty Girl), but she hasn't shown any inclination to actually enjoy being with another cat. For these reasons, we are inclined to think she'd rather not. Someone unfamiliar with the Siamese personality might perceive her independence as aloof but someone familiar with the Siamese personality will appreciate and admire Sadie’s independence interspersed with affection. You will know which you are, so trust your instinct when considering her. Sadie has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which can make her more prone to infections. FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent catching an illness and should be fed a balanced, nutritious diet, like all cats should. Story
My daughter has complex medical condition that is requiring us to find a home for Felix. He is the sweetest most playful and snuggly cat I have ever owned. He does sometimes mark territory and I suggest he be the only cat in the house for this reason, but he is not aggressive or afraid of our Aussiedoodle. Sometimes he will play bop him on the head when he walks by the chair. He likes toys and hiding around a corner or behind hanging clothes and pouncing you. He loves the water fountain and hangs out and watches it sometimes. We have two other cats. One is elderly and the other belongs to my daughter with health issues. I think Felix will do better in an only cat home. Dogs may be ok. He is used to ours!

Story
Meet Smoke Smoke is a handsome senior Siamese gentleman with a soft grey coat and a quiet, thoughtful personality. At 11 years old, he’s well past the chaos of kittenhood and into the “lounging on the couch and enjoying the good life” stage — exactly where he belongs. Right now, you might notice that Smoke looks a little upset in his photos… and honestly, that’s fair. His whole world was turned upside down after the recent loss of his owner, and he’s still trying to make sense of all the changes. New place, new people, new smells — it’s a lot for a cat who spent years in a loving, stable home. But here’s the important part: this is not who Smoke really is. In a home environment, Smoke is a good, gentle companion who simply needs a little time to settle in. He can be reserved at first, but once he feels safe, his friendly side comes through. He’s lived successfully with other cats, does fine with dogs (he’ll politely set boundaries if needed), and while he may take a minute with kids, he warms up and has never been anything but appropriate. Smoke enjoys the simple things — a cozy couch, a sunny spot, maybe a little supervised time on a deck, and the occasional toy when he’s feeling playful. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention but will quietly become your steady companion. If you’re someone who understands that love sometimes takes a little patience — and that the most rewarding bonds often do — Smoke could be an incredibly special addition to your home. 🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Once approved, we’ll work with you to ensure it’s a great fit—and if it’s not, no worries! We’ll help you find the perfect match. All of our cats are adoption-ready and come: • Spayed or neutered • FELV/FIV tested • Dewormed • Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines • Microchipped
