Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Winston (black and white tuxedo boy) and Sophie (creamy tabby girl) may come from different beginnings, but they’ve formed a special bond and now share life as a devoted brother-and-sister duo. Both are a bit shy at first and would thrive in a calm, patient home where they can build trust at their own pace. Once they feel comfortable, their playful sides shine. They love chasing wand toys, pouncing cat games, and especially enjoy playing together—it’s clear they bring out the best in each other.   These two are also big fans of mealtime and are highly food-motivated, which can make bonding and training even easier. Treats—especially Churus—are their absolute favorite and guaranteed to win them over.   With time, patience, and lots of love (plus a few tasty treats), Winston and Sophie are sure to blossom into affectionate and entertaining companions. Winston and Sophie will do best in a mature home or one with older cat-savvy children (10+).   Winston and Sophie were born approximately September 1, 2025, and December 1, 2025, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $275. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  March 31, 2026, 12:37 pm

Story
Meet Meraki Meraki is a 7-year-old Snowshoe point neutered male with a sweet soul and some truly impressive athletic skills. While he’s shy with new people and needs a little time to warm up, those who earn his trust are rewarded with a playful, entertaining companion. Meraki is incredibly agile and loves showing off his parkour-style moves! He enjoys bird-watching, chasing cat toys, and gets along well with other cats. Meraki would do best in a calm home without dogs and with older children or adults who can respect his space while he settles in. If you’re looking for a playful, fascinating cat with a gentle heart, Meraki may be your perfect match If you are interested in meeting Meraki, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. Story
Kitty Baby was my grandma’s cat. He was a wonderful companion and stayed at her feet or by her side until she passed away less than two weeks ago. He is playful, loving and funny. He eats only one kind of wet food, Blue Buffalo Tastefuls. He has seen a vet with the last 9 months and we discovered he has food allergies. Thus cat food has worked for him. If he’s too stressed he might vomit. He likes a clean litter box and a quieter home. He is such a good cat. I’d keep him but my cat cannot stand the stress of another cat and she’s in poor health. Kitty Baby is especially good for an older person. We aren’t sure how old he is. Maybe 8. My grandma found him at a Sonic in Oklahoma and brought him home. He relocated to Kansas with her last summer. He loved all the daily visitors she had and would ask you to pet him. He is such a good boy. My son and his roommates are fostering him right now, but the house is too busy for him. I think he’d do well with kids because he’d get a lot of love. ❤️

Story
He is an 8-year-old seal point Siamese (turning 9 on June 23) that we adopted as a kitten and has been a loved part of our family ever since. He is neutered and front declawed. He is very sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented—he enjoys attention, being near his humans, and has done great with children (including being around a baby) and dogs. He is fully litter box trained, but in a multi-cat household he has shown stress-related marking behavior. Because of this, we are looking for a home where he can be the only cat or in a very low-cat environment where he can feel secure. He would do best with an experienced owner who understands cat behavior and can give him a calm, stable space. He is a loving, gentle companion who thrives when he has a strong bond with his person. He should be an indoor-only cat.
