Siamese kittens & cats in Pleasantville, New Jersey

Pearl found herself homeless and looking for a meal wherever she could find it. When she found a yard with a bird feeder she figured maybe she'd try her luck at catching something. That didn't work. So she found a nice person that was willing to give her some food. Once, when this person was putting her food down, they reached out to pet her like they had done numerous times before. This time though, Pearl hadn't been paying attention and the hand coming at her scared her. Pearl reacted by swatting at the hand, and ended up leaving a small scratch on the person's hand. She didn't bite, she wasn't nasty, just reacted and happened to make contact with one toe. So we were contacted and picked Pearl up for the required 10 day hold period for any animal involved in a scratch that broke skin. Now that the hold time has expired, Pearl is ready to turn the page and move forward in her life. She is a sweet cat, but like many cats she has a limit to how much attention she wants at any given time. When she wants attention she will come to you and headbutt you, when she doesn't want her humans fawning on her she simply walks away. So she's not a snuggly cat who will lay in your arms for hours, but she does like affection from her family. Condor was an incidental find while trapping at our church colony. No one knew he existed - but fate stepped in one night I was driving through to check the colony and saw him about a block away. I immediately set up a trap and within 10 minutes he was trapped and onto a better life! Condor was a true feral. He was aggressive and had rules we needed to follow. Knowing that the colony could not be returned - I made the decision to keep him and work with him. Everyone told me he was too feral and to put him back and I mean everyone ! But, as with everything you gotta start somewhere! I started giving him churu thru the carrier holes in his cage (he was super scary!) he would growl, lunge, grumble and make it known we’d we were not welcome. Baby steps with churu thru the carrier holes, then with my finger thru the hole, then front carrier … it was a lot of small steps in the right direction!! Eventually I heard PURRING coming from the carrier - it would make imagine my elation!!! The rest is history, he's a feral2friendly graduate! Condor is a very chatty and attention seeking boy! He comes running when you call his name and enjoys being pet and brushed. He is not shy - he solicits for attention and will rub you your legs to say “hey I’m down here” when seeking love! He is well tolerated by other cats and does great this them. Everyone loves Condor - human and kitty alike! He would do better with other cats as he loves their companionship. Meet Yoko! 💗.Yoko is a gorgeous 5½-year-old seal-point Siamese with beautiful blue eyes and a sweet round face. Originally rescued from Texas as a kitten, Yoko has been deeply loved, but sadly her caretaker passed away and she now needs a new forever home. Yoko is incredibly affectionate, intelligent, playful and interactive. She loves being involved in whatever her person is doing, follows you around the house, talks to you in true Siamese fashion, greets you when you come home and loves sleeping with her person. She still gets her silly zoomies and has a fun, BIG personality! Yoko is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, indoor-only and has excellent litter-box habits. Yoko MUST be the only pet in her new home. She needs someone looking for an affectionate, involved companion who will truly become part of their everyday life. She does well with children. Because Yoko doesn’t travel well, we’re seeking a permanent home reasonably close to Burlington County NJ.
