Pearl found herself homeless and looking for a meal wherever she could find it. When she found a yard with a bird feeder she figured maybe she'd try her luck at catching something. That didn't work. So she found a nice person that was willing to give her some food. Once, when this person was putting her food down, they reached out to pet her like they had done numerous times before. This time though, Pearl hadn't been paying attention and the hand coming at her scared her. Pearl reacted by swatting at the hand, and ended up leaving a small scratch on the person's hand. She didn't bite, she wasn't nasty, just reacted and happened to make contact with one toe. So we were contacted and picked Pearl up for the required 10 day hold period for any animal involved in a scratch that broke skin. Now that the hold time has expired, Pearl is ready to turn the page and move forward in her life. She is a sweet cat, but like many cats she has a limit to how much attention she wants at any given time. When she wants attention she will come to you and headbutt you, when she doesn't want her humans fawning on her she simply walks away. So she's not a snuggly cat who will lay in your arms for hours, but she does like affection from her family. Condor was an incidental find while trapping at our church colony. No one knew he existed - but fate stepped in one night I was driving through to check the colony and saw him about a block away. I immediately set up a trap and within 10 minutes he was trapped and onto a better life! Condor was a true feral. He was aggressive and had rules we needed to follow. Knowing that the colony could not be returned - I made the decision to keep him and work with him. Everyone told me he was too feral and to put him back and I mean everyone ! But, as with everything you gotta start somewhere! I started giving him churu thru the carrier holes in his cage (he was super scary!) he would growl, lunge, grumble and make it known we’d we were not welcome. Baby steps with churu thru the carrier holes, then with my finger thru the hole, then front carrier … it was a lot of small steps in the right direction!! Eventually I heard PURRING coming from the carrier - it would make imagine my elation!!! The rest is history, he's a feral2friendly graduate! Condor is a very chatty and attention seeking boy! He comes running when you call his name and enjoys being pet and brushed. He is not shy - he solicits for attention and will rub you your legs to say “hey I’m down here” when seeking love! He is well tolerated by other cats and does great this them. Everyone loves Condor - human and kitty alike! He would do better with other cats as he loves their companionship. A suggested friend for him would be one of his fellow adoption center friends- ask us about who would be a good match for him! Adopt this sweetie today! ##1542805##

Jessie needs to be the only cat, as she does not get along with other cats, which is the reason for needing to find a new home with an experienced owner. My residence also only allows one pet.

Speedy was pulled from a local shelter where he was extremely stressed and beginning to decline. Since settling into foster care, he’s shown himself to be a quirky, affectionate cat who thrives on comfort and routine.He seems to do well with cats and dogs, but would likely do best in a quieter home with fewer pets and less commotion. He can be shy in new environments and becomes overstimulated easily when nervous or stressed, so he needs an adopter who will respect his boundaries and allow him time to settle in at his own pace.Speedy has pendular nystagmus, a condition commonly seen in Siamese cats that causes his eyes to move back and forth. It does not require treatment, though it may make him more sensitive to visual stimulation and sudden environmental changes.He loves lounging on his heating pad, bird watching from the window, chasing feather wands and laser pointers, and hunting the occasional fly around the office. He’s very food motivated and especially loves wet food and Delectables squeeze tube treats.While he enjoys long naps, he still has playful bursts of energy and can get intensely focused during playtime. He’s also incredibly tidy, meticulous about grooming, and very neat with his litter box habits.Every now and then, Speedy will let out a long, dramatic little meow when he wants attention, but otherwise he’s a fairly quiet companion who enjoys a calm environment and predictable routine.

He enjoys head and chin scratches, though his belly and paws are sensitive. Humphrey is also a professional biscuit maker, kneading any soft surface he finds, and once he's comfortable with you, he'll curl up beside you and make bread right on your lap. Humphrey chatters like any good Siamese cat. He doesn't respond to his name, but he'll turn his head at the sound of "pspsps."
