Story
This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Sparrow was living outside of someone's townhouse with her 4 four week old kittens and a 6-month-old kitten from her previous litter. Apparently the person that rented the townhouse previously just left her behind when they moved away. The new tenant was being told that she could not have the cats out there and she didn't know what to do, so she contacted us. We went and got all but three of the kittens (because someone else had went and grabbed them before we got there) and brought them inside. Mom then the older kitten Charlie, have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and are negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. Sparrow has been a great mom and is nice but is still a little unsure of people after being abandoned like she was the poor thing. She will need a little TLC to feel comfortable and yet another new place.

Story
Prescription Diet Food for ConstipationMeowth is a six month male Siamese mix.  He is a timid boy, but very sweet once he gets over his initial shyness.  He has beautiful blue eyes and a soft fluffy coat.  Meowth loves to be pet and purrs all the time.  He still has a lot of kitten energy and has fun playing with toys.  He enjoys carrying his stuffies around and wrestling with them.  Meowth needs time when being introduced to new people and animals, but he does warm up. His adopter should be aware he needs to be on a prescription diet to keep his bowels regular. Meowth is playing with his foster family.  Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster: Jaime J.).February 21, 2026, 4:48 pm

Story
Taro is a gorgeous snowshoe Siamese mix with sparkling blue eyes and a personality that’s equal parts sweet and spirited. He’s a talker in the most charming way, happily carrying on little conversations with his humans and chiming in whenever he thinks something important needs to be said. He loves being scooped up and settles right into your arms, especially if you’re offering head scratches and a good lower back rub. That’s his weakness. Once he’s comfortable, the purring starts with serious dedication! Taro is playful, social, and thrives with other feline companions. After slow, proper introductions, he does beautifully with new kitty friends. Because of how much he enjoys feline company, Taro is required to go to a home with another playful cat. He will either need to be adopted with one of his foster siblings or join a home that already has a young, friendly, and active feline companion. We are not considering single cat households for him. He also did exceptionally well with dog testing and would adjust fine in a home with pups after slow introductions! Taro is affectionate, expressive, and happiest when he has both humans and kitty friends to share life with. If you’re looking for a cuddly conversationalist who also loves a good play session, Taro might be your perfect match.
