Story
Scamp was rescued from outside. We expected him to be adopted by Christmas, because we know how popular Siamese kittens are. Scamp is rare; there are not a lot of flame point Siamese out there. But unfortunately, he contracted ringworm. He was treated for 2 months and the vet says he is now ready to be adopted. Scamp's fur has grown back, he eats and drinks well and has never failed to use the litter box. Scamp is shy at first so be patient with him. Do your family a favor and adopt! For more information or an adoption application, contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com.

Story
Ursula was initially a stray cat that was then picked up and put through various foster homes, so she is used to being around other cats. She doesn't like to go outside and is the typical lazy cat, just wants food and occasional attention. She is incredibly sweet to people she is familiar with and goes crazy over wet food. She can become used to dogs if they are calm around her. Overall, a very sweet and easy going cat with little demands!

Story
BEAUTIFUL "TEENAGED" KITTEN WITH BLUE EYES NEEDS FOREVER HOME This gorgeous, blue-eyed boy, a Siamese and American shorthair mix, is just eight months old and a true gem of a kitty. Bullwinkle (fondly known as Boo Boo and Boo Boo Bear) was fostered by an employee of a local animal hospital after being found alone at just two weeks old--until he was eventually adopted by a loving family. During the time with his foster mom, he was exposed to a pet dog and also spent a lot of time at the vet clinic alongside his foster. Therefore, he is VERY comfortable and friendly with people of all ages. In fact, his owner says, “He has never met a stranger.” Sadly, the existing senior cat belonging to his adoptive family has not proven to be comfortable with or friendly to Bullwinkle in return, making for a stressful environment for the family’s older cat and for the little guy as well. For that reason only, Bullwinkle needs a new home. His adoptive family adores him but wants him to have the best possible living situation for the future. His new home should be with a person or family who is around a fair amount of time (he LOVES human attention), and it must include at least one appropriately aged, friendly, and playful kitty companion. A cat-friendly dog may work in addition. Bullwinkle is fully grown at eight months, neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He ALWAYS uses his litter box and has, thus far, been very respectful of his environment and furniture (sitting on it but not scratching it). He is INDOOR ONLY and must remain that way. He must never be declawed. There has to be a person or family out there who can offer Bullwinkle the perfect (and final) forever home for which he is longing, someone who will open his or her heart and home to this loving and deserving sweetheart. Please email edenlake1@yahoo.com if you are that person or family, and I will be happy to put you in touch with his owner. Courtesy Post:CThorton
