If you are looking for a resilient, food-motivated original who is finally getting the chance to be a playful, lively young indoor cat, meet Dreamer!Dreamer started her young life in a cat colony, cared for by a kind property owner who fed her through pregnancy and nursing four kittens outdoors. She was one of the first cats in the colony to start seeking out affection, and food has always been the surest way to her heart. She never really got the chance to just be a kitten, and when her family was rescued just two months ago, Dreamer had her first experience with life indoors, adjusting to new motherhood, new people, and an entirely new world all at once.Now that her kittens are weaned and she's been spayed, Dreamer is finally getting to discover who she is as an individual — and she has so much ahead of her still to learn and enjoy. She has been a fantastic, attentive mother who adores her babies, and that same warmth shows in how she now plays with her kittens, especially her son, Dill Pickle. True to her Siamese mix, she can be a chatty girl, full of chirps and mews. She's curious, loves toys, and is pushing herself to explore more of the world each day. She's not a biter, though she can be quick with a startled swipe when she's overwhelmed. She's still learning what it means to be safe, and that she can let her guard down and accept the scratches she does truly want. She's unbothered seeing the family dog through a gate, enjoys lickable treats, and loves sprawling across cool surfaces like desks, especially spots with a good vantage point to watch what's going on around her.What Dreamer is looking for:• A Quiet, Patient Home: Dreamer does best in a calm household with kids 12 and up rather than young children, and without a lot of noise and activity, where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.• A Built-In Playmate: Dreamer would do great adopted alongside one of her kittens, giving her a familiar, playful companion as she settles into her new home.• Potential for Feline Friends: Dreamer can be a bit selective, but she may well get along with other cats given a slow, gradual introduction and some patience.• An Experienced Cat Owner: Someone who understands that her occasional defensiveness comes from fear and will let trust grow steadily.• A Way to Her Heart: Treats and food are Dreamer's love language — a patient hand with a snack will go a long way.• Room to Keep Growing: She's come so far already, learning to play and greet her people at the door.
