Story
BEAUTIFUL "TEENAGED" KITTEN WITH BLUE EYES NEEDS FOREVER HOME This gorgeous, blue-eyed boy, a Siamese and American shorthair mix, is just eight months old and a true gem of a kitty. Bullwinkle (fondly known as Boo Boo and Boo Boo Bear) was fostered by an employee of a local animal hospital after being found alone at just two weeks old--until he was eventually adopted by a loving family. During the time with his foster mom, he was exposed to a pet dog and also spent a lot of time at the vet clinic alongside his foster. Therefore, he is VERY comfortable and friendly with people of all ages. In fact, his owner says, “He has never met a stranger.” Sadly, the existing senior cat belonging to his adoptive family has not proven to be comfortable with or friendly to Bullwinkle in return, making for a stressful environment for the family’s older cat and for the little guy as well. For that reason only, Bullwinkle needs a new home. His adoptive family adores him but wants him to have the best possible living situation for the future. His new home should be with a person or family who is around a fair amount of time (he LOVES human attention), and it must include at least one appropriately aged, friendly, and playful kitty companion. A cat-friendly dog may work in addition. Bullwinkle is fully grown at eight months, neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He ALWAYS uses his litter box and has, thus far, been very respectful of his environment and furniture (sitting on it but not scratching it). He is INDOOR ONLY and must remain that way. He must never be declawed. There has to be a person or family out there who can offer Bullwinkle the perfect (and final) forever home for which he is longing, someone who will open his or her heart and home to this loving and deserving sweetheart. Please email edenlake1@yahoo.com if you are that person or family, and I will be happy to put you in touch with his owner. Courtesy Post:CThorton

Story
This beautiful Siamese mix lady was found wandering on her own and is now safe with us—but shelter life is still a little overwhelming for her. She’s understandably unsure of all the noise and new routines, yet her sweet nature shines through. She is quiet, gentle, and reserved, preferring calm moments and soft voices. With a little patience and a peaceful environment, she will blossom into a loving companion. She’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention, but deeply appreciates kindness and consistency. This lovely girl would do best in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace and feel safe again. If you’re someone who understands that the most rewarding relationships take time, she just might be your perfect match.

Story
Socialization & Patience   Celeste is seeking a foster parent with experience in socializing fearful or under-socialized cats. She needs someone who understands the quiet magic of small steps—a gentle presence, patience, and the ability to celebrate tiny wins like a peek around the corner or taking a treat. The Key: She needs a calm, predictable environment and a foster who is dedicated to consistent, positive interaction to help her blossom out of her shell. To help her feel safe and manage her stress, Celeste is currently kept in her own space. Because she occasionally becomes nervous around other cats, which can cause her to bother them, she must be kept in a dedicated room or large enclosure separate from other household pets. This is a temporary measure designed to help her focus solely on building her confidence and bond with her human. ##1834390##
