Spayed or Neutered,
Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  May 28, 2023, 11:09 am

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Charlie and Moe came in when their owner went into assisted living. They had full run of the house for the past 7-8 years and are not used to a lot of commotion or people. All they have ever known is a quite home where they can get their pets in when they wanted them. They are both around 7-8 years old, they are a bonded pair that need to stay together. Once they warm up to you they do well but it takes time. The Shelter has been a huge change for them and they typically run and hide with new folks. Patience is what their new owner will need to have and understand that it will take time for these two to warm up. They do much better with women than men but over time they will warm up to anyone, especially if you are feeding them.

Story
Meet Prego, the sweetest Siamese kitty boy you will ever come across!! He has both Snow Shoe and Lynx Point markings. He flops down on your feet, meows and loves to be petted. Prego's very docile and friendly with other cats as he came from a huge cat colony with a ton of kitties. He would do well in any family environment from the single stay at home professional wanting a companion to an active household with children. Prego would also be happy with a puppy or friendly dog buddy too. Prego is a gorgeous kitty with such a sweet disposition. He has been neutered and has gotten all his vaccines, so he's ready for you. Check out his sisters, Dicey (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/38186389-denver-north-carolina-kitten) and Sissy (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/38186446-denver-north-carolina-kitten).
