Story
Estimated Birthday: 3/11/2015 Meet Coco: Your Personal Purrfect Princess 👑 Have you ever been in the presence of true royalty? Rest assured if you haven’t you will have been once you meet Coco. This elegant lady knows how to carry herself with regal bearing. She is very selective when choosing her friends and family, but once she chooses you are her person. Given her regal bearing and discriminating tastes, Princess Coco seeks a family who only has eyes for her so she doesn’t have to share her spotlight with anyone else. Ideally, Coco is looking for a mature, peaceful adult companion who appreciates the finer things in life, like peaceful afternoons, couch cuddles, and respectful admiration. When she's not gracing her cat condo with her regal presence, Coco enjoys engaging with a curated selection of toys (her subjects, perhaps). But here's the real treasure: once she accepts you into her inner circle, you'll be rewarded with the most luxuriously soft purrs imaginable. It's like having your own personal white noise machine, but by far more adorable! Coco would be perfect for: Single adult households Quiet home environments People who appreciate a cat with an engaging personality Those who understand that earning a queen's trust is a worthy endeavor Not suitable for: Homes with children Multi-pet households Those seeking an instant lapcat If you ready to apply to become part of her royal family (aka loving adopter), Coco is accepting applications from qualified subjects who can provide the peaceful, pet-free palace she deserves. Crown and scepter not required, but a appreciation for feline sophistication is a must! 👑✨ If interested in adopting please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org to complete an adoption application. Adoption applications are accepted and reviewed from the Charlotte and the surrounding areas only. Our cat adoption recovery fee is $165 this includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, FELV testing, and Vaccines up to the time of adoption.

NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $120 cash or $125 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  March 8, 2026, 3:52 pm

Story
Meet Ese (pronounced “easy”), a petite 7-month-old Snowshoe Siamese kitten with a resilient spirit and a gentle heart. She came from a backyard colony of 12 cats, where she was the runt and the eighth to be fixed. After a tough start, Ese is now safe in foster care and getting the second chance she deserves. Personality: Ese is a playful, observant, and independent kitten who is still learning to trust. She loves interactive play—especially chasing a feather wand through her tunnel—and has impressive laser pointer skills. One of her favorite things to do after playing is relaxing on her window perch, watching birds and squirrels. Temperament & Needs: Because of her early life, Ese is sensitive to touch and can be cautious with handling. Currently, she is not a “pick-up-and-cuddle” kitten and will need an experienced adopter who understands shy cats. She is thriving in her foster home where patience, consistency, and a calm, predictable environment has allowed her to build trust at her own pace. The Sweet Side: As she becomes more comfortable, Ese is showing her softer side. She especially enjoys gentle brushing under her chin, is starting to accept affection on her own terms and learning that laps can be warm and safe places to snuggle. Ideal Home: * Quiet, low-traffic household * Experienced cat adopter * No young children (due to her sensitivity) * Another confident, friendly cat would be a plus with slow, proper introductions (Jackson Galaxy-style recommended) Ese may not be an instant lap cat, but for the right person, she offers something incredibly special—the chance to earn her trust and watch her continue to grow into a confident, loving companion. Ese has been spayed, received rabies vax, fvrcp & booster, combo tested negative, dewormed and flea treatment/prevention and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 (this covers the cost of her medical treatment/care). Friends of Feral Felines: A small all-volunteer, donor-funded organization whose mission is to improve the lives of community cats in and around Charlotte, NC. Our focus is TNVR (Trap.Neuter.Vaccinate.Return). Hundreds of kittens, like Ese, are born in backyards everyday with no reprieve from the reproduction cycle (kittens can get pregnant as early as 4 months old). At 5 months of age, Ese was covered in fleas, malnourished, dehydrated and pregnant. Her life story changed the day our volunteer showed up. Please consider following us on social media as our volunteers work to save lives through prevention to alleviate suffering. Volunteers are always welcome, too

Story
I am currently needing to rehome my beautiful boy, Hei-Hei, due to an ongoing conflict with my other cats. Despite trying everything we can, they are not getting along, and unfortunately it has caused a stressful environment for him. He is a 7 year old Snowshoe Siamese who desrves a calm. loving home where he can feel safe and relaxed. At this time, we have to keep him separated because the other cats have tormenting him, and it has efen affected his ability to comfortably use the bathroom. It is not fair to him, and we want to find him a situation where he can truly thrive. Because of this, II am looking for a home with either no other cats or just one friendly cat. Hei Hei is a very sweet boy who loves to sleep and relax and even occasionally play but due to my cats, he has not expressed his playfulness. He did have a close companion who recently passed away and I believe that is also one of these reasons why he is stressed. His previous owners let him outside so do with that asyou will

Story
BEAUTIFUL "TEENAGED" KITTEN WITH BLUE EYES NEEDS FOREVER HOME This gorgeous, blue-eyed boy, a Siamese and American shorthair mix, is just eight months old and a true gem of a kitty. Bullwinkle (fondly known as Boo Boo and Boo Boo Bear) was fostered by an employee of a local animal hospital after being found alone at just two weeks old--until he was eventually adopted by a loving family. During the time with his foster mom, he was exposed to a pet dog and also spent a lot of time at the vet clinic alongside his foster. Therefore, he is VERY comfortable and friendly with people of all ages. In fact, his owner says, “He has never met a stranger.” Sadly, the existing senior cat belonging to his adoptive family has not proven to be comfortable with or friendly to Bullwinkle in return, making for a stressful environment for the family’s older cat and for the little guy as well. For that reason only, Bullwinkle needs a new home. His adoptive family adores him but wants him to have the best possible living situation for the future. His new home should be with a person or family who is around a fair amount of time (he LOVES human attention), and it must include at least one appropriately aged, friendly, and playful kitty companion. A cat-friendly dog may work in addition. Bullwinkle is fully grown at eight months, neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He ALWAYS uses his litter box and has, thus far, been very respectful of his environment and furniture (sitting on it but not scratching it). He is INDOOR ONLY and must remain that way. He must never be declawed. There has to be a person or family out there who can offer Bullwinkle the perfect (and final) forever home for which he is longing, someone who will open his or her heart and home to this loving and deserving sweetheart. Please email edenlake1@yahoo.com if you are that person or family, and I will be happy to put you in touch with his owner. Courtesy Post:CThorton
