I was caring for my kittens under a trailer when some people came to fix the cats in the area. They had to put a tracker on me when they saw i was a nursing mom. They had to find and save my kittens. Abner is a sweet, very quiet boy in his foster mom's home. She describes him as "shy about the world" ... big things can be scary, and changes can be terrifying! But we've seen moments when Abner was comfortable and let his guard down, and a wonderful loving boy came out, allowing for snuggles and love. We're guessing the big kitty personalities of his foster siblings are a bit much for him at times, which is why we think a quieter home with just a few people and maybe a couple gentle kitty friends will be the best fit for sweet Abner's forever home. Abner was initially part of a TNR ("Trap Neuter Return") program, but the vet providing the neuter recognized the soft personality and sweet nature of this charming boy, and asked for help finding him a safe, loving home.
