After seeing a specialist, she was diagnosed with Feline Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)—a chronic condition that can cause stomach problems like vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and poor appetite. To keep her healthy, she’s now on a special prescription diet that she’ll need for the rest of her life. It’s not a diet that can be changed or skipped—any deviation could trigger a flare-up. Her food is a bit pricier than average, so her adopter will need to be prepared for that responsibility. Mei is ready for her next chapter. With time, patience, and a loving home, she’ll continue to flourish.
