Story
Meet Caesar! He;s a polydactyl, so he;s got an extra thumb toe on his front feet. I had been feeding him outside of my work since 2020. On Christmas Eve 2024, he showed up with a rectal prolapse. I took him to my vet and they did surgery to fix the prolapse, I had him neutered and bloodwork done. He is Feline Leukemia FeLV negative, but did test positive for Feline Immunodeficiency virus/FIV. FIV typically causes a weakening of the cat;s immune system. FIV positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration, they just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. I have had him fully vaccinated and he;s been on monthly Revolution Plus flea medicine since December. It is recommended that FIV cats be an inside only cat, or in a home with other other FIV cats. I have other cats in my home, so I cannot take him in. He;s been in my garage since January. Looking for a home or rescue that will take him with his FIV diagnosis.

Story
Stone was found by one of our wonderful fosters and supporters, who quickly realized this handsome, sweet boy deserved a chance. He’s gentle, affectionate, and full of charm. Stone is FIV+—a condition that simply means he’ll need an indoor-only home and regular veterinary care—but it doesn’t stop him from living a happy, full life. Now he’s ready to find a patient, loving forever home where he can truly shine.

Story
Hi. This is Lacey. She is a Siamese cat that is 17 years old and I've owned her for 16 years. She is a very sweet cat and loves her kids. The only health issue she has is some kidney disease which has just been increasing her water and changing her food. I believe she is microchipped and she is front declawed. She would probably do best in a single pet household, however, I've had a cat and a dog in the past who she was ok with after a while. I'm trying to rehome her due to an issue with her due to her having occasional accidents outside her litter box and I'm not in a position where I can deal with it. I would love for her to go to a good home and live out her days peacefully with someone who can care for her. Also have cat supplies including her food and a self-cleaning litter box. I don't need money, just a good home for her.

Story
Meet Ducky. He is one of four cats who were abandoned in the woods and left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, they were rescued as they trilled to the people who were there to help them. They are a group of the friendliest and sweetest cats that surely never would never have made it on their own had they not been rescued. More information to come soon. Story
Approximate Birthdate 4/21/24 Looking for an angel? This cat is named for the angels and is looking for you! This beautiful diva is ready to look for her forever home! Serafina has shown such resilience in her short life as an emaciated outdoor kitty who was taken in by Shelter to Home and overcame medical concerns to get healthy and ready for adoption. If you are looking for a chatterbox to have a conversation with, she's your girl. Like others of her breed, she enjoys sharing her thoughts regularly through her vocalizations. She enjoys being around her humans and will sit on laps or next to her favorites on the couch. While she has learned to accept that others are in her domain, Serafina would be happiest in a home where she is the sole animal to be queen of her kingdom. She has not been aggressive to other animals, but avoids them and shows no interest in playing, cuddling, or becoming friends with her cat housemates. Serafina may have long-term effects of her difficult early life. Regular vet visits may be part of her care in her forever home. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**July 23, 2026, 12:41 am
