Story
Rowan originally showed up on our porch last winter injured so we took him in. We've been trying to find a home for him on our own but have been unsuccessful and are reaching a point we can't keep him any longer since our house is not the best environment for him. He is extremely loveable and will endlessly lick you for pets. He also likes to snuggle a lot. We are unsure how he is with kids (we think as long as they respect his boundaries he would be quite good with them) but he absolutely has to go to a house without dogs or other cats. He is neutered and is currently up to date on flea medicine and vaccines. He also has a chipped canine that was present when we found him but have never noticed any issues. The vet thinks he is around 6-7. We think he would best be suited in a house where someone is always around, like someone who is retired or works from home. We hope that someone amazing will be able to take him home!

Story
Meet Wilma: A Furry Bundle of Love! Wilma is a sweetheart who found her way to us after being abandoned at a local livestock auction barn. This brave little lady has been a mother to numerous litters of kittens before she joined our family. Now, she enjoys the simpler things in life - like lounging in her hammock and watching the world go by. She's a social butterfly with other cats and kids, and while she might give dogs a hiss and a tail flip, she's quick to wander off and do her own thing.Wilma is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccines. She's also on Revolution Plus as a monthly preventative. If you're looking for a laid-back, loving companion, Wilma might just be the cat for you!We are located in Crossville, TN but we offer transports to other states (which may be where you are seeing this ad.) https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=43LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Willow is a fun playful cat who loves to play with her little mice toys! She loves to cuddle in your lap .She also likes to play chase the string. She sits and gives high fives for her treats. She’s very smart! We’ve had her and her brother since they were 2 weeks old and rescued 4 years ago. Her brother had some surgery and since he’s been home she is afraid of him! She growls, hisses and puffs up yet she won’t leave him alone , which is causing her brother to spray around the house! We have tried everything to get them back together. We hate to do this but we don’t seem to have any other choice! We love her but it’s not fair to either cat! Also Willow is an indoor cat only and she has not been declawed!

Story
Hi my name is Alamo, and I am an adorable kitten on the prowl for a forever home! I am very curious of the world around me and would love to have some guidance while I explore and learn. I’m looking for someone to be that person for me, will you be the one?Alamo is Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive. FeLV is a serious virus that is contagious to other cats (but not contagious to people or other species of animals). It may cause a shortened lifespan but FeLV cats have so much fun and love to give. Please call or come in to find out more.I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV. If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

Story
Hi my name is Simon! I am a shy cat looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. At my foster home, I sometimes hide under the bed when I`m overwhelmed. However, I have found that I love receiving attention and even reward my foster parent with snuggles and happy purrs! I would love to meet you soon, so please submit an application for me so we can make a connection.Simon is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!
