Story
This is Castiel, named after the Castiel character from Supernatural. Castiel is over a year old and he is a flame-point Siamese. He is a little lazy and independent. He also likes to be held sometimes. He is curious about the outdoors, but never goes out. He would do best in a home with other cats as he loves to snuggle with other cats.

Story
Kiwi is the best – but if you tell them so, you’ll make them blush! They don’t like being the center of attention, but if you give them soft blinky eyes and a little patience, you’ll soon become theirs. They’re very good at hide and seek, so since you want their lovely company as much as possible, it’d be best to take things slow. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who doesn’t give head bumps to just anyone. I’m looking for a lowkey household without any young kids so I can be your main focus.Kiwi is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!

Story
Hi there, my name is Loretta. I am a very sweet and laidback kitty that would love nothing more than a warm lap, good food, and the love of a forever family. I’m a quiet cat, looking for a home without any dogs, cats, or young children so I can relax and take naps in the sunshine with you. Adopting a senior cat like me would be a perfect fit for families that enjoy a more relaxed household. With a senior cat, what you see is, for the most part, what you get when it comes to temperament and personality!I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV. If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

Story
Shallot – From Street Scout to Sofabed King  Shallot is a young, cross-eyed Siamese tomcat with movie-star looks and a heart that’s ready for his happily-ever-after. For at least a year, this handsome boy roamed his neighborhood—no microchip, unneutered, relying on the kindness of neighbors who made sure he was fed but unable to offer him a true home. While we may not know how he ended up there, we do know he’s more than ready for an indoor home of his own. What started as a simple TNR turned into something much more special. Shallot made it clear he was ready to trade in the street life for the cushy indoor upgrade. Regular meals? Yes, please. A warm bed? Absolutely. Not having to sleep with one cross-eyed peeper open? Sold. Now safely indoors and newly neutered at two years old, Shallot is settling into this next phase of life. He’s sweet, chill, and adjusting beautifully as his hormones level out. Beneath that slightly wonky gaze is a gentle, affectionate soul who seems deeply relieved to finally be safe. He's super chill and laid back, never once hissing or growling through his rescue and TNR adventure. He absolutely melts for head scratches and under-the-chin rubs and rewards you with the happiest little purr. He's amenable to nail trims and other kitties hanging around him; he gives the cutest little trill to communicate.  Shallot would love a forever home where he can continue to decompress, be adored, and never worry about surviving another winter outside. He’s done roaming. He’s done roughing it. Now he’s just looking for someone to love him furever so he can put his Tomcat chapter behind him. Apply to meet this handsome fella today!  ##2663999##
