Holly’s story starts with survival. She and her sisters were trapped during freezing 14° weather, knowing nothing but life outside. Because of that, she’s still a little shy and cautious—but every day she’s learning what love truly feels like. Once Holly feels safe, her sweet personality shines. She absolutely loves butt scratches and being held, and when she’s comfortable, her loud purr motor kicks on. She even has a big voice to match—her meow is impossible to miss when she’s feeling confident! She has a playful side too and loves to fling her toys around, but for the most part Holly is a very laid-back girl who enjoys a calm environment. Fast movements can still startle her, so she’ll need a patient home that understands she’s still building trust. Holly enjoys the company of other cats and would do well with a feline friend, but dogs just aren’t her thing. She doesn’t mind being put in a carrier, though she’ll definitely let you know how she feels about it the whole time! Holly is a work in progress with so much love to give.
