Story
DOB: August 20th, 2023 Dashing blond with striking blue eyes, Carlisle is much more than a pretty face. At two years old, this respectful, hygienic, and affectionate sweetheart is looking for a kind human with a cozy lap—and the patience to let him take things at his own pace. Carlisle enjoys his independence during the day, but once evening rolls around, he’ll happily come out to request pets, cuddles, and (when he’s fully comfortable) belly rubs. TV time is his favorite cue for snuggling up, and he makes excellent, low-key company with absolutely zero chaos. He loves playing with small toys—mostly on his own—and is especially enthusiastic about head-butting like there’s no tomorrow. Carlisle is easygoing and low-maintenance: just provide a steady supply of love and food, and he’s content. He eats well and isn’t picky, though it’s best to keep him on his current diet for a bit while he continues to adjust. Affectionate from the start but still sensitive, Carlisle will thrive in a calm, quiet home with minimal sudden noises. Give him a little time and space, and you’ll quickly see what a gentle, loving soul he is. Carlisle was diagnosed with intermittent Nystagmus which is a common congenital condition in Siamese cats . Nystagmus is a condition characterized by involuntary eye movement. In Siamese cats, the condition often occurs with strabismus. The eye movement is usually rhythmic, slow, and subtle, and may increase or decrease with certain head positions. Affected cats’ brains adapt to the movement, and the cat is presumed to have normal vision. Adopters should seek veterinary advice on how to manage this condition, however, at present no treatment is indicated.
