Story
Meet Belem, a handsome and affectionate sweetheart! Belem is a playful, gentle, and social cat who thrives on connection. He loves to be near his humans for cuddles, pets, and playtime, and he`s remarkably clever with his communication. He`ll tap you with his paw to ask for pets and attention, and he’ll show his affection through gentle flops and contented purrs. In new environments, Belem may take a few days to get his bearings, but he doesn`t stay reserved for long. Within days of settling into his foster home, this clever boy came out of his shell and is now confidently exploring his surroundings, following his humans around, and even hopping into bed for goodnight snuggles. Belem has been building his confidence around loud footsteps and unfamiliar sounds like garbage trucks, and he’s making great progress every day as he settles into trusting his world. This affectionate boy would be very happy in a home with another affectionate cat he can bond with closely. Belem craves companionship, and having a feline friend by his side would help him feel secure and give him the love and connection he deserves. Belem has not been tested with children or dogs.Belem would flourish in a patient and loving home where he can continue building his confidence. If you`re looking for a devoted, communicative boy who will reward your patience with deep affection and bedtime cuddles, Belem could be your perfect match. Contact Team Cat Rescue today to meet this sweet, clever gentleman!

Story
Bonded brothers Jack and Elwood are ready for you to fall in love with them! If you have visited our shelter, you have definitely seen these two fellas by the front door ready to greet you with an abundance of happy meows and snuggles. Jack (The bigger of the two) and Elwood (the smaller of the two) are nine and a half years old. They are neutered, have their core vaccines, they're microchipped, and they have been given flea and parasite treatment. Where one brother goes, the other is never far behind when it comes to these two handsome peas in a pod. Sleeping together, eating together, and just generally finding joy in every moment at each other's side, Jack and Elwood are truly bonded. They are each other's entire world - But don't worry, there's plenty of room in their world for you too! These boys are truly Siamese cats in every possible way. Between Elwood's loud and proud talkative nature and Jack's super smart 'I will find my way into the food bin' curiosity, they represent all of the most wonderful aspects of their breed! This also means that they are INCREDIBLY loyal, affectionate, and in need of tons of attention. They want to be with you as much as possible, and you will frequently end up with a cuddle puddle of Siamese adorableness on your lap as soon as you sit down near them. Even if you don't sit down, Elwood will leap onto your shoulders (and Jack will try his best) Cat trees, a big cozy bed, lots of exciting toys, these are all a must if you want to bring Jack and Elwood into your life. With their highly intelligent nature, it's no surprise that they like to keep themselves busy when they aren't trying to sneak in an extra few minutes of snoozing in your arms. Jack and Elwood are great cats to have by your side if you love good conversation with your kitties, and have plenty of time to spend spoiling them with all of your love. Something to know about Jack and Elwood is that they have some special medical needs. It is a bit of a balancing act, but these boys are worth every bit of effort to ensure they are thriving. Jack is a BIG boy! He needs to watch his food intake to ensure that he can continue to lose a healthy amount of weight slowly. When he first arrived in our care, he could barely drag himself across the floor with how heavy he was - Thankfully, we have had great success in getting Jack's weight down, and now he keeps up with his brother better! Jack and Elwood are amazing with children and have met lots of our younger community members. They are looking for a home with no other animals.

This is mainly triggered by stress, so a calm, loving home is exactly what he needs! Jack and Elwood are amazing with children and have met lots of our younger community members. Story
If you`ve been dreaming of not one but TWO beautiful girls to fill your home with sweetness, look no further than Shortcake and Buttermilk! These gorgeous sisters are a bonded pair with two distinct personalities: one gentle and quietly affectionate, and another full of playful mischief and adventure. Together, they create the perfect balance of tender moments and entertaining antics.Shortcake is the sweet, feminine soul of the duo who has mastered the art of quiet devotion. This gentle girl has the most endearing bedtime routine: she`ll follow you to bed each night, ready to snuggle under the duvet while you read or relax. Though she`s not a lap cat, she`s open to hugs, pets, and being held (at least for a little while!). Shortcake is patient, loving, and content to simply share your space, offering her peaceful presence as companionship. She`s also been known to enjoy her meals a little too much, occasionally sneaking bites from her sister`s bowl!Meanwhile, Buttermilk is the feisty, adventurous spirit who keeps things lively! This athletic girl is full of energy and loves initiating play sessions with her sister, complete with chasing, pawing, and the occasional playful hiss. She`s a bit more independent than Shortcake but has been coming around more and more, seeking out her humans on her own terms. While she`s less enthusiastic about being held, she appreciates affection when the mood strikes. Buttermilk`s mischievous personality and dominant energy make her the perfect complement to her gentle sister. You’ll find endless entertainment watching them play together and groom each other.Shortcake and Buttermilk have food sensitivities and require a special diet along with daily prednisone to keep them comfortable and healthy. These are simple accommodations that make all the difference for these sweet sisters. Shortcake and Buttermilk would thrive in a calm home where they can continue their sisterly bond, enjoy their playful routines, and receive lots of gentle affection. They have not been tested with children or dogs but do well with other cats. If you think these two beautiful girls could be the perfect addition to your family, contact Team Cat Rescue today! These sisters can`t wait to find their fur-ever home together.
