What my friends at OHS say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a sweet and sensitive girl who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.I guess you could say I'm pretty "down-to-earth" - I like my feet on the floor! I can be sensitive to being picked up and held.Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Good with cats,
Story
This sweet cat was abandoned by someone. He is friendly and loves to be petted. He is at my house 2 times a day for food and he seems to be very hungry each time I feed him. I give him lots of wet food and leave dry food and water out for him. I has not been fixed yet and if someone wants to adopt him i can have that done for them. He is a good cat and needs a loving home. He gets along with my cat when and is not aggressive at all toward him. I don't bring him inside my house but will sit outside and pet him. I can not afford to keep him and i have to travel and then he will not have anyone to care for him.

Story
This sweet girl also belonged to my late father, who passed away a few months ago. She has been a cherished family pet for years and has always been loved and cared for. She spends much of her time outdoors but comes inside regularly, especially during the winter and bad weather, and is comfortable with both indoor and outdoor living. She is spayed, healthy, and somewhat shy at first, but she is affectionate once she feels comfortable. She has always lived on a peaceful rural property and would thrive in a home where she can continue an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. We had a plan in place for her after my father’s death, but it unexpectedly fell through at the last minute. I am desperately hoping to find her a safe, loving home where she can spend the rest of her life being cared for.

Story
This sweet girl belonged to my late father, who passed away a few months ago. She has been a beloved family pet for years and has always been well cared for. She enjoys spending most of her time outdoors exploring the property, but she also comes inside regularly—especially during cold weather—and is comfortable living both indoors and outdoors. She is spayed, healthy, and a little shy when she first meets new people, but she is gentle and settles in once she feels safe. She has lived on several acres, so she would do best in a quiet home with room to roam or on a property where she can continue her indoor/outdoor lifestyle. After my father’s passing, we had a home lined up for her, but it fell through at the last minute while I was packing up the property. My greatest hope is to find someone who will love and care for her the way my dad did.

Story
Hi, I’m available for adoption! Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. If I sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats? I have no prior experience living with another cat, but I have interacted with them outside. I may do well with another cat after a slow introduction process. What do you think about living with a dog? I have previously lived with a dog and we coexisted well. I may do well with another dog after a slow introduction process. How do you feel about kids? I don`t have experience with kids, but may do best with cat-savvy kids. What was your previous home like? A loving home where I lived with a dog. I had access to come and go outside as I pleased. What’s your ideal home like? A loving home that can allow me access to the outdoors once I have had some time to settle in my new home. It would be a bonus if there was a cat door. Is there anything else we should know about you? I am very loving, social, playful, and affectionate. Ask staff about my medical release!
