Story
Hey there — I'm Jessie, a precious 3-month-old buff point Siamese boy with a heart full of adventure! 🐱 I'm litter box trained and ready to go, and I absolutely love snuggling up for cuddles on your lap while still keeping my independent spirit alive. I'm playful and energetic (fair warning: I can be a little mischievous!), and I get along wonderfully with other cats, making me a perfect fit for multi-cat homes. I'm available for adoption in Texas only, so if you're in the Lone Star State and ready for a friendly, affectionate kitten companion, come meet me! 💕

Story
What my friends at OHS say about me:Looking for a conversation partner? I'm quite chatty!I'm a very active and curious boy - I love to run, jump, and explore!Need a pal to motivate you to get up and play? That's me!I should be pursuing a career in cat modeling, but instead I'm just looking for a nice family to call my own.I will never leave your side (don't wanna miss out on any pets) but I'd rather not be picked up too often. I love being with my people and need the attention, but I can be sensitive to being held and carried.I had a surgery to repair a ruptured cruciate ligament and will need physical therapy and exercise restrictions for 6-8 weeks. You will need to follow up with your family veterinarian about my surgery.Handling Sensitivity: I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home. The type of home I'm looking for:I need a home without cats or other small animals.I am not for the first time cat owner. Someone very familiar with feline body language is a must for me.It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Primary Color: Chocolate Point Weight: 7.8125 Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
I’m available for adoption and I will be ready to go home once I`ve had my eye treatment done! Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. If I sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats? I previously lived with another cat and I was scared of them. I`d likely be happiest as the only cat in the home. What do you think about living with a dog? I previously lived with small dogs and I was scared of them. I`d be happiest in a home without dogs. How do you feel about kids? I might do well with kids but would like to meet any children first before going to live with them. What was your previous home like? I lived indoors only with another cat and a few dogs. What’s your ideal home like? A loving, calm and quiet home where I`ll have someone to cuddle with. Is there anything else we should know about you? Please ask staff about my medical release!

Story
I got Samantha from a shelter back in January! She is a very sweet, loving girl, though new places can take a bit of getting used to for her. She would prefer to be the only cat, but if you do have other cats, she can adjust with a slow, careful introduction because she can be a little hissy and might swat at the other cats. She absolutely loves her food! Because she is currently 18 pounds, she is on a strict weight-loss diet that must be maintained. I feed her 1/2 can of wet food for breakfast, 1/2 can for lunch, and exactly 1/4 cup of dry kibble for dinner. Because she is so food-motivated, she eats very fast; it is best to spread her wet food on a lick mat so she doesn't throw up. I'm guessing she lived on the streets for a long time before the shelter, as she doesn’t really understand toys or know how to play normally. Instead of chasing things, she just kind of wiggles at them in the cutest way! She is a truly wonderful, good girl who loves the occasional belly rub.

Story
Greetings new friends! I'm Abram and I love every human. I was born almost totally blind (I can see light and shadow but I don't know what I'm seeing). My mom and siblings were blind. I'm also fairly deaf. I navigate the world with confidently and will headbutt anything I think is friendly and will pet me.I probably have epilepsy and will have a few big seizures a month. So far in the month I've been with Animal Aid they have not see any seizures. Currently I get a cheap medicine to help with that but if I do get more seizures I may need more medicine for that with regular blood tests to make sure it's not building up in my system too much.  I had a little diarrhea when I first got here so I'm on a special food to help with my digestion. I probably won't need to be on this food forever.I lived with cats and a dog previously and did well. It takes me some time to get used to new animals it seems so I have my own room in the shelter currently. I'm super affectionate and chill and can do most things a cat with vision can do. I don't really like being picked up since it disorients me but I like to cuddle. I will meow to get your attention or if I'm confused about something. My estimated birthdate is 11/1/2024.
