Story
Say hello to Saint Francis! This sweet tubby boy feels more comfortable with a silly name like Hambis, so this is what he responds to! Hambis is an incredibly sweet cat with endless affection to give, he will sit there and give you kisses for as long as you stay still! He loves to cuddle, he loves to be held, and he loves playing! He has a pretty severe cross eye, which makes it difficult for him to see sometimes, sometimes he will not be able to find a toy in front of him if it’s too small or flimsy like a string, so he prefers bigger toys like play mice and crinkle balls to chase! Ham is a perfect companion, and in a perfect world i’d never let him go, but he deserves someone who can afford to give him everything he needs, and i unfortunately can’t do that for him anymore.

What my friends at OHS say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a sweet and sensitive girl who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.I guess you could say I'm pretty "down-to-earth" - I like my feet on the floor! I can be sensitive to being picked up and held.Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Story
Wispy Cloud is a gentle, calm soul with the elegance only a Siamese can carry. At 3 years old, she's perfected the art of lounging and loves nothing more than curling up in a sunny spot or stretching out for a cozy nap nearby. She’s a certified head-scratch enthusiast and will happily lean in for affection when you're near. She currently lives peacefully with other cats and would do wonderfully in a home with feline companions—or as a solo queen, if that’s her destiny. With her easygoing nature and loving heart, Wispy Cloud is the kind of kitty who brings quiet joy to every room she graces. Wispy is FIV+, which simply means her immune system is a little lower than the average kitty’s. She doesn’t require any extra care beyond routine vet checkups—just a loving home where she can live her best life. If you're looking for a soft, serene companion to keep you company during lazy afternoons and peaceful evenings, Wispy Cloud might just be your perfect match. Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/688b8a4bfb29321f400f5005 Questions? Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $525 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*
