Story
Katy is a stunning 9-month-old Siamese with a big personality and an even bigger opinion about how her home should be run. In Katy’s mind, the rule is simple: she must be the only cat. No roommates, no feline neighbors, no “maybe they’ll become friends.” Katy has made it very clear that she truly despises other cats, and she is happiest when she has her space — and her people — all to herself.
Like many young Siamese, Katy is very smart, very energetic, and very vocal. She has plenty to say and will happily carry on a full conversation with you about her day. She also absolutely loves to play and has lots of kitten energy, so she’ll need someone who enjoys interactive play and can spend time each day engaging her with toys she can chase, pounce on, and conquer.
Katy can also become overstimulated during play or petting and may respond by getting nippy, so it’s important that her adopter understands cat body language and knows when to give her space. Because of this, she will do best in a home with adults or older, cat-savvy children who can respect her signals.
Some of Katy’s sass may settle once she’s in a calmer home environment where she doesn’t have to constantly deal with other cats, but her future family should be prepared for a feisty, high-energy Siamese with strong opinions and quick reactions.
For the right home — one where she can be the one and only feline star — Katy will be an endlessly entertaining, talkative companion who keeps life interesting every single day. Just remember: when Katy moves in, she fully expects to be the queen of the castle… and the only cat in it. 👑🐾
Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.
