Story
Meet Rumi 😻🔥 This stunning 1-year-old Siamese mix is equal parts sugar and spice. Rumi definitely has a little sass to her and isn’t afraid to let you know when she has opinions 🤣 but underneath that feisty personality is a super loving, affectionate girl who absolutely adores attention and pets. On her terms, of course. She likes to keep everyone humble 💅 Rumi loves to cuddle when she’s in the mood, enjoys hanging out with her people, and has tons of personality packed into one tiny cat. She does great with kids and other cats. Dogs aren’t exactly her favorite thing in the world, but she tolerates them well enough as long as they respect her personal space 😂 She’s litter box trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever home that appreciates a cat with a little attitude and a whole lot of love 🩷🐾

Story
Meet Casper & Shadow 🐾 Casper and Shadow are a bonded pair of handsome boys looking for a home where they can stay together. Casper, a striking Siamese mix with soft blue eyes, and Shadow, a charming tabby with a gentle soul, have both been through a lot of change recently. Through it all, they’ve remained incredibly resilient and have found comfort in each other along the way. Both boys may need a little time to settle into a new environment and adjust to their surroundings, but with patience, a steady routine, and understanding adopters, they’re sure to continue growing more comfortable and confident. Casper tends to win people over with his sweet charm, while Shadow has a quieter presence that slowly draws you in. Casper and Shadow have experience living with other cats and may do well with feline companions in the future with proper introductions, but for now they’re hoping to continue their journey side by side. They have no known experience with children, though they could do well with calm, cat-savvy kids who understand that some cats need time and space to adjust. If you’re interested in adopting this special duo, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours!

Story
Meet Tiptoe 💫True to her name, Tiptoe moves through the world slowly, carefully, and on her own terms.Tiptoe came from a home with more than 100 cats, where she didn’t have the chance to learn that humans can be safe, kind, and predictable. Because of that, she is an incredibly sensitive and shy girl who is still figuring out how to trust.Right now, Tiptoe prefers the comfort of her hidey spots, where she can observe the world from a safe distance. But she is making progress. She will venture out for her favorite things, especially food. Churu is the way to her heart. She has even come out for short play sessions with a wand toy when she is feeling brave. One of the sweetest glimpses into her personality happens when the humans step away. She will relax enough to cuddle up on the couch with her brother, Winifred. In a quieter home with more space and time, we believe we will see more of this softer side.Tiptoe is not a cat who will seek out attention or ask to be pet right now. She may not for a long time, and that is okay. What she needs is an adopter who truly understands shy cats and is willing to meet her where she is. Someone patient, gentle, and committed to letting her move at her own pace without expectations. With time, consistency, and a steady supply of Churu, we are hopeful Tiptoe will continue to build confidence and trust. She has already made a lot of progress in her foster home, and we know her journey is just beginning.Tiptoe can be adopted with or without her brother, but she would likely benefit from a confident feline friend to help her feel safe.If you have a quiet home and a big heart for the shy ones, Tiptoe might be your girl. 🐾*tiptoe is thought to be a Lynx Point Siamese Mix, but has not been tested___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
😺 Meet Chewy – Your Chatty, Charming Companion! 💬💙 Calling all Siamese lovers—have we got the guy for you! Chewy (just saying his name makes us smile!) is a 3.5-year-old Siamese mix with a stunning lynx point coat, dazzling blue eyes, and a purr-sonality as bold as his meow. This handsome boy is full of affection, curiosity, and conversation—he’s never short on things to say and is always ready to share his thoughts with you! Chewy is outgoing and loves human attention. He’s a total social butterfly who wants to be wherever you are—lounging nearby, chatting away, or vying for your love. Tyra Banks would definitely approve of his camera-ready smize skills, too! 🧠 But here’s the deal: Chewy needs an experienced cat-savvy home. While he’s very affectionate, he can get overstimulated and may nip when he’s had enough. Reading his body language and respecting his boundaries is key to keeping your relationship happy and balanced. With the right human, Chewy is a devoted companion who loves deeply—he just needs someone who understands that even lovebugs need space sometimes! 🎾 Chewy’s Ideal Home: An experienced cat person who can recognize and respect his limits A calm environment without dogs or young children Likely best as a solo cat, though he can coexist with mellow felines who respect his personal bubble Plenty of toys and enrichment—he’s an active, intelligent boy who loves to play! If you're looking for a charming, chatty, and affectionate companion—and you're the kind of person who gets that even the sweetest cats have complex feelings—Chewy just might be your purr-fect match. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested!
