Story
Smokey is a 15 lb., approximately 3-year-old Siamese. He was born without a tail. He had all of his vet care on 12/4/25 and is ready for adoption. His owner gave him to a rescuer we work with because she could no longer care for him. Despite his size, we were told he is a picky eater, and his previous owner used to cook chicken for him. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat. If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.

Story
😺 Meet Chewy – Your Chatty, Charming Companion! 💬💙 Calling all Siamese lovers—have we got the guy for you! Chewy (just saying his name makes us smile!) is a 3.5-year-old Siamese mix with a stunning lynx point coat, dazzling blue eyes, and a purr-sonality as bold as his meow. This handsome boy is full of affection, curiosity, and conversation—he’s never short on things to say and is always ready to share his thoughts with you! Chewy is outgoing and loves human attention. He’s a total social butterfly who wants to be wherever you are—lounging nearby, chatting away, or vying for your love. Tyra Banks would definitely approve of his camera-ready smize skills, too! 🧠 But here’s the deal: Chewy needs an experienced cat-savvy home. While he’s very affectionate, he can get overstimulated and may nip when he’s had enough. Reading his body language and respecting his boundaries is key to keeping your relationship happy and balanced. With the right human, Chewy is a devoted companion who loves deeply—he just needs someone who understands that even lovebugs need space sometimes! 🎾 Chewy’s Ideal Home: An experienced cat person who can recognize and respect his limits A calm environment without dogs or young children Likely best as a solo cat, though he can coexist with mellow felines who respect his personal bubble Plenty of toys and enrichment—he’s an active, intelligent boy who loves to play! If you're looking for a charming, chatty, and affectionate companion—and you're the kind of person who gets that even the sweetest cats have complex feelings—Chewy just might be your purr-fect match. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested! For more information about our adoption process, please visit our website: https://scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/about-adoption/ All adoption fees include: - Spay/neuter surgery Adoption Process - Microchip - Rabies and distemper vaccinations - Proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing - Flea treatment & deworming - A veterinary exam Please Note: Scruffy Paws operates by appointment only and is not open to the public. Story
Cali was adopted from the humane society. She is a vocal cat that would really do best as the only cat. She did well in our home until we had a baby who has been too high energy for her. Since he has begun crawling it really stresses her out and despite trying to separate her into part of the house she has been crying out more to get access to the whole house. She is skeptical of strangers, but enjoys one on one time with her preferred human. She deserves a lot more love and attention than we can give her and I want to ensure she doesn’t feel stressed out anymore. She tolerates my smaller two dogs but doesn’t love the large dog. She tolerates our other cat, but doesn’t love playing with him.

Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING We transport kittens from South Florida. There is an epidemic of cat overpopulation in South Florida. Tens of thousands of cats & kittens suffer needlessly & need a home. We transport & adopt kittens & cats that have no chance in South Florida. Please note - we are the only legal Florida rescue importer in the state of Mass. We have 3 professional transporters deliver your kitties safely to you. One person is always in the back monitoring the health & well-being of your animal. Although we love dogs they are NEVER on our transport as it adds time & stress for your kitties. Be sure to ask questions of any rescue transporting. Are they legal & how are they transported. There is a big difference. We also use flight angels. Kind volunteers who bring a cat or kitten on a plane ride as their carry-on luggage. We are so grateful for good people. We try to get the kittens as close as we can by air. TO ADOPT A KITTEN, YOU MUST ADOPT IN PAIRS OR HAVE A YOUNG CAT. Our adoption guidelines: Must be 25 years old Must adopt young kittens (6 months or less) you must have a young cat or dog or adopt in pairs UNLESS otherwise stated. Must be a previous cat owner. Must have a vet we can speak to. CT license AIR 000534 MA charity #080383 MA licensed importer #68 USDA # 88-T-0895 Meet beautiful Ophelia! Ophelia, as with many kittens from South Florida, was found sick and hungry, but a kind person brought her and her litter mates inside and gave them medical treatment, lots of food and loving. Ophelia is about 3 months old, and just a sweetheart. She can be a little shy in the beginning, but then she is cuddling with you in no time. She LOVES her "donut" bed. Her litter mates have all been adopted and we are introducing her to Vanilla Bean, hoping they make a love connection. One of his pictures is included, the beautiful black panther. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application and we'll set up a virtual meet for you. You've got nothing to lose and you might fall in love.

Story
To adopt this cat from Black Cat Rescue, please fill out a profile https://blackcatrescue.com/adopt-cat-boston Maia is a petite Siamese kitten with a giant personality and a heart full of love. She’s social, playful, and full of kitten energy—bouncing from spirited playtime to cozy cuddle sessions in an instant. Maia adores attention and will charm you with her trills, chirps, and expressive meows as she follows you from room to room. She loves being petted on her head, cheeks, and under her chin, and she’ll happily curl up in your lap or snuggle beside you for a nap. Maia is curious, affectionate, and endlessly endearing—an engaging companion who will fill your home with joy and laughter. Maia is partially incontinent due to a spinal abnormality, so she requires some extra care and patience. She takes medications and supplements to support her digestion and motility, and her environment should be set up with easy-to-clean surfaces or protected areas. She’s comfortable with gentle cleaning routines, though she may squirm a bit during them. Despite her challenges, Maia lives life to the fullest—playing enthusiastically, using her scratching post faithfully, and enjoying her favorite treats like Churu and crunchy snacks. With a little support, she’ll thrive as a happy, loving companion who gives far more than she asks for in return.
