ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Story
😺 Meet Chewy – Your Chatty, Charming Companion! 💬💙 Calling all Siamese lovers—have we got the guy for you! Chewy (just saying his name makes us smile!) is a 5-year-old Siamese mix with a stunning lynx point coat, dazzling blue eyes, and a purr-sonality as bold as his meow. This handsome boy is full of affection, curiosity, and conversation—he’s never short on things to say and is always ready to share his thoughts with you! Chewy is outgoing and loves human attention. He’s a total social butterfly who wants to be wherever you are—lounging nearby, chatting away, or vying for your love. Tyra Banks would definitely approve of his camera-ready smize skills, too! 🧠 But here’s the deal: Chewy needs an experienced cat-savvy home. While he’s very affectionate, he can get overstimulated and may nip when he’s had enough. Reading his body language and respecting his boundaries is key to keeping your relationship happy and balanced. With the right human, Chewy is a devoted companion who loves deeply—he just needs someone who understands that even lovebugs need space sometimes! 🎾 Chewy’s Ideal Home: An experienced cat person who can recognize and respect his limits A calm environment without dogs or young children Likely best as a solo cat, though he can coexist with mellow felines who respect his personal bubble Plenty of toys and enrichment—he’s an active, intelligent boy who loves to play! If you're looking for a charming, chatty, and affectionate companion—and you're the kind of person who gets that even the sweetest cats have complex feelings—Chewy just might be your purr-fect match. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested! For more information about our adoption process, please visit our website: https://scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/about-adoption/ All adoption fees include: - Spay/neuter surgery Adoption Process - Microchip - Rabies and distemper vaccinations - Proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing - Flea treatment & deworming - A veterinary exam Please Note: Scruffy Paws operates by appointment only and is not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are in foster homes, so for the safety of our fosters and adopters, an approved adoption application is required before scheduling a meet-and-greet. Ready to apply? Meet Willow and her BFF Henry! Adoption fee: $299 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 We have lots of kittens available for adoption, so please be sure to look at all of our available kittens! Some friendships are simply meant to be, and that's exactly the story of Henry, the handsome gray tabby, and Willow, the beautiful Siamese. Although they came into rescue separately, they were born around the same time—approximately the third week of March 2026—and ended up together in the same loving foster home. Before long, they became inseparable. These two adorable kittens spend their days playing, exploring, wrestling, and then curling up together for cozy naps. They are everything you could hope for in kittens—curious, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. Watching them interact is guaranteed to make you smile. Because they have formed such a special bond, we would love to see Henry and Willow adopted together so they can continue growing up side by side. They truly bring out the best in one another and will provide each other with comfort, companionship, and endless entertainment. If you're looking to add twice the love, twice the purrs, and twice the fun to your family, Henry and Willow are ready to fill your home with happiness.
