Mr Bigglesworth is finally off quarantine, fully vetted and ready to start seeking a happy home of his very own and leave his past life behind him. Mr Bigglesworth is about 2 yrs old and came to us really sick with an upper respiratory infection , full of fleas and worms and he had been beat up so badly from other male kitties. Mr Bigglesworth does have an old eye injury that was never treated and he's completely blind in that eye. He loves attention, loves belly rubs and other kitties. Her mother is a bluepoint Siamese, but her father is not known. Rita and her sister Beauty were adopted together and enjoyed a happy life with their dads. Unfortunately, when their dad's mother had to move in with them, she brought a larger dog which was not friendly towards the cats. To ensure their safety, they were returned to the rescue. Rita is now 6 years old and has adjusted well to life at the rescue. She loves to be petted on her terms and has a special affinity for men, likely due to growing up with male caregivers. She is current on all of her vaccines, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been microchipped and spayed. Rita is eager for a new beginning and a loving forever home. Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Potential adopters must follow our adoption process, which includes an adoption application, an interview, reference check, and a home visit. Pre-qualification Applications may be submitted in advance will be kept on file. Some things to consider before completing the Adoption Application. Have a family meeting to discuss how adding a pet will impact your lifestyle, how you may need to change routine, if a dog or cat is better suited and ensure that everyone in the household is ready. Meet Anika, a quiet girl who gets sweeter as you get to know her.  She’s a beautiful Siamese with the most gorgeous blue eyes to get lost in.  She’s petite, smaller than most cats but perfectly patterned and proportioned.  Unfortunately her person was getting older and unable to care for her so it’s time for this cute girl to find a new home. Anika is shy at first but warms up more and more every day.  She lets you know when she’s ready for company and when she needs a little room.  Once she gets to know you she loves getting petted and will seek out your hands to try to get more.  It’s adorable to see her try to figure out where she wants to be petted.  She’ll be purring and rubbing once she’s buttered up just right. She’s not fussy and would love to be in a quiet household where she can relax and keep you company. While she still enjoys chasing string around, most of the time she just appreciates good company. We're not sure if she's good with children or dogs.  She's not excited about other cats but wouldn't mind a quiet friend who doesn't need to poke her nose in her business.
