Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This cat's adoption fee is $75. Many cats do so much better in pairs, especially kittens, which is why we offer a reduced adoption fee of $25 for the second cat (or more!). Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. July 28, 2026, 8:44 pm

Story
Meet Stella! This gorgeous older girl is hoping to find her new forever home very soon. Stella is a total love-bug who absolutely loves being pet and having all the attention you have to offer. She is friendly, easy going, and is a true lap cat who wants nothing more than to curl up with her people on the couch to take a nap. Stella loves meeting new people and is sociable with everyone of all ages, but she may appreciate cat savvy kids who can understand her boundaries and let her relax. Stella has not been around other animals but we think she may do well with another calm older cat with a slow introduction, but she wouldn`t mind just having the house all to herself either. She may not enjoy a dog as she is a bit afraid of loud noises. Stella is currently on a daily blood pressure medication, but she loves pill pockets and takes her meds without a problem. She has also had a dental procedure. Stella may need regular vet visits to help manage both her blood pressure and make sure her remaining teeth are healthy. The Cattery staff can provide you with more information about this. If you`re looking for the sweetest older kitty ever, Stella is ready to meet you!
