Story
Elena just turn 3 this year and she’s a really sweet and calm dog. Compare to other husky she’s more obedient but she ‘s still a husky so she also has an attitude but like all dogs. She’s been around with kids and small infants and she’s good around females dogs and human. She doesn’t really trust Male in general since in her previous household they were abusive. She lives with Hispanic people so she knows words in Spanish. Basically you can talk to her in Spanish/English She’s also really active. We’re looking for someone who can love her like we do.

These cats are in Rocklin, California too!

Story
1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Looking for a kitten who wants to be right in the middle of the action? Thumper is a floofy tuxedo girl with a big personality, lots of energy, and plenty of affection to give. She’s playful, curious, social, talkative, and always ready for her next adventure! Thumper LOVES to play. Wand toys are a favorite, with balls, crinkle toys, stuffed mice, climbing cat trees, and chasing the magical red dot all close behind. She especially loves racing, chasing, and wrestling with her sister, Templeton. She’s also a confident little social butterfly. Thumper does well meeting new people and has adjusted quickly to new environments. She’s curious about her foster family’s resident cats and will approach them to try to make friends. She definitely doesn’t want to miss out on whatever everyone else is doing! And when those kitten batteries finally run down, Thumper’s affectionate side takes over. She loves pets, chin scratches, and being close to her people. She’ll give ankle rubs and shoulder bumps, purr happily, curl up on your lap, tummy, or chest, and sometimes simply walk right across you to get where she wants to go. One of her funniest habits is jumping onto her people and climbing right up to their shoulders. Personal space is apparently optional when you’re Thumper. 😹 Thumper would thrive in an active, playful home with plenty of interaction and another friendly feline companion. She is being fostered with her sister Templeton, and while they are not a bonded pair, these two absolutely love playing and exploring together and would make a fantastic duo. She can also be matched with another compatible kitty. Obviously all of our cats are rescues so we do not know what breed they are. However these girls remind us of Maine Coon charateristics with the floof and the confidence! ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens arenât subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you wonât be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we donât skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We âve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
