She is very clingy to one, but does very well if she is left alone. She is a very great kitty and can adapt well to different environments. If you do choose to adopt her please note that you will be loved as much and you will love her. I truly appreciate if you take it into consideration, she doesn’t bother you very much, She is a chill kitty if you dont want a cat that is constantly needing attention.

Story
Cali was rescued from a feral mom in Oct. 2021. She was bottle fed and has been spayed. Cali has been diagnosed with asthma and needs medication daily. Cali is calm and independent. She is happy with little attention. Cali gets frightened easily. Cali has been kept mostly indoors but likes short periods of time outside. I am relocating and I will have to keep her in a kennel most of the time. I pray someone out there can give her a home where Cali can move more freely in and she can give someone company. Cali is a good cat. She does not scratch much. Thanks for caring.

He’s very affectionate and loves attention. He’s good with other animals. He does currently have some sort of skin problem, he itches a lot. I’m not sure what the issue is, and I cannot afford to take him to the vet. I am moving to a new state next month, and I don’t personally have a good bond with him, so I’d like to rehome him with someone who will.

Story
My daughter and I adopted Kiwi in 2018 from a shelter, so she is chipped and spayed, My daughter moved away and left me in charge of Kiwi. Though I love her so much and am sad to give her to a new home, I travel a lot and am not home much. Kiwi is 7 years old. She is very low maintenance, but is scared when meeting new people and tends to hide until she feels comfortable. She is not aggressive, or scratches on furniture. She loves cuddling on my lap on a blanket when I watch tv. I do let her outside during the day but she is mostly inside so she does use a litter box. I feed her one small can of wet food and she eats dry food the rest of the day. Yes, I like spoiling her with wet food and treats.

Story
If you're looking for an affectionate cat who loves to cuddle, Gin is the cat for you. He's very lovey and sweet towards people, loves pets and lap time, and would even make a great kitty to snuggle up and sleep with. Because we have so many other cats, we feel like we can't give him the proper attention and care he deserves. He's easy to care for and is a mostly a good cat, but he does have a few bad habits. Firstly, he isn't the nicest to other cats, which is why we're hoping he can go to a single cat home (he tends to fight other cats over attention and food). Secondly, he has a bad habit of eating human food (especially by eating food off of dishes in the sink). Because of this, he has digestive issues like diarrhea and painful poops. He would benefit from a home that can reduce his access to human food and potentially even put him on a specialized diet. Despite his issues, he is very good about using the litterbox as long as it's cleaned regularly.

Frankie was left behind at a feral colony that we care for. This young and playful cat thrives around children and gets along well with other felines, but he isn't a good match for small dogs or birds.

Story
1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Our darling, extra-special foster kittens are ready to find their forever home—and they are truly something special! Roo & Tigger are a bonded pair of 9- and 10-month-old blind boys who don’t let their lack of sight slow them down for even a second. In fact, if you didn’t know they were blind, you’d never guess it. These two live life to the absolute fullest—wrestling, grooming, snacking side by side, and tumbling around the house in the cutest little ball of orange chaos. They are, without a doubt, two peas in a pod. They found each other in foster care, and from that moment on, their bond has been instant and unbreakable. They went through their enucleation (eye removal) surgeries and recoveries together, and through it all became the playful, loving, goofy duo they are today. Roo, our lighter buff tabby, is pure sunshine in kitten form. He has the softest, velvety coat and an even softer heart. Roo is fearless, curious, and incredibly social—always the first to greet guests and investigate any new sound (including the vacuum, which he bravely “attacks” with hilarious confidence). He keeps himself busy with important duties like supervising household chores, assisting with litter box scooping, and occasionally being a very adorable tripping hazard in the kitchen. But when the day winds down, Roo transforms into a total cuddle bug, ready to curl up and soak in all the love. Tigger, his equally charming best friend, shares Roo’s playful and affectionate nature, with just a tiny sprinkle of shyness at first. He still likes to be part of the greeting committee, just from the sidelines until he feels comfortable. Once he does, his sweet personality shines. Tigger absolutely adores snuggling—especially burrowing under the covers at night. He’s a bed-sharing, heart-stealing kind of guy. Tigger loves playing “soccer” with his toys and is rarely far from Roo—they’re often found wrestling, chasing, or proudly carrying their favorite crinkly balls around the house. Believe it or not, they’re even learning how to fetch! These boys have also learned a special little signal—a gentle finger rub before being touched—letting them know they’re safe and about to be loved. And they absolutely adore affection. They soak it up every chance they get. Because they rely on sound and routine, Roo & Tigger would thrive in a calm, stable home. They haven’t been around dogs or young children, so a quieter environment with thoughtful introductions would be best. Blind cats are nothing short of incredible. They adapt in amazing ways, using their whiskers, memory, and especially their hearing to navigate their world with confidence. They climb, play, explore, and love just like any other cat—often even more deeply. Blind kitties tend to form especially strong bonds with their humans, and Roo & Tigger are no exception. These two are truly something special. They will fill your home with laughter, warmth, and so much love. Watching them experience the world together is pure joy—and they deserve a family who will cherish them just as much as they’ve been cherished in foster care. If you feel that pull in your heart, please consider giving these boys the forever home they’ve been waiting for 🧡🧡 Please share to help Roo & Tigger find their perfect home. They are neutered and fully vetted for their age. ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens arenât subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you wonât be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we donât skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We âve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. Story
💛Kitten season runs March-Oct in our area. Babies are just now being born. They will be weaned around June. We highly suggest looking into adopting adult cats! 🐾 Why Adopt an Adult Cat? Adult cats are often overlooked—but they make some of the very best companions. Their personality is already developed With an adult cat, what you see is what you get. You’ll already know if they’re playful, cuddly, independent, or a quiet lap companion—making it much easier to find the right match for your home and lifestyle. Fewer behavioral surprises Adult cats are past the unpredictable kitten stage. Most are already litterbox trained, understand household routines, and have settled temperaments—meaning a smoother transition into your home. A calmer, more relaxed companion While kittens are adorable, they can be high-energy and require constant supervision. Adult cats tend to be more relaxed, making them ideal for families, working households, or anyone looking for a steady, comforting presence. They’re just as loving (if not more) Many adult cats form incredibly deep bonds and are so grateful for a second chance. There’s something special about earning the trust of a cat who truly knows they’ve been given a fresh start. You’re saving a life that’s often overlooked Adult cats typically wait longer for homes. By choosing one, you’re not just adopting—you’re giving a deserving cat the chance they’ve been waiting for. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care!
