You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. She was rescued from an abusive and traumatic household, and while she has made progress, her past has understandably left her with lasting fear and anxiety. I already had another cat, and unfortunately, the two have not been able to coexist peacefully. Due to her fear-based responses, she has become reactive. That said, she has the capacity for deep affection and loyalty. Once she chooses her person, she forms a strong, loving bond and becomes incredibly devoted. She would do best in a quiet, stable environment as the only pet in the household, with someone patient and compassionate who can provide her the time, space, and security she needs to truly thrive.

Please meet paisley. She’s a great cat and catches bugs. Shes low maintenance and would want to cuddle once in a while. She loves playing with the dogs and thinks she’s one of them. She’s not happy with the new baby and we are looking for someone who is looking for a low maintenance companion.
