Male, approx 4 years old, Maine Coon Princey's owner passed away. He is new to the rescue and we can't wait to find out more about him. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific vetting: Rabies, FVRCP. Cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a FELV/FIV negative mother in foster care. Kittens have age-appropriate vetting to date, which includes deworming, microchip, and the first FVRCP vaccine. Kittens born in care to a negative mother will not receive a FIV/FeLV test. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.

Haze is a pretty, gentle gal who loves to be pet. She is very sweet, friendly, affectionate, and will lean into your hand while you are petting her. Haze also enjoys sitting in your lap.  She came from an elderly owner who was not taking care of her coat.  She has been shaved with a lion cut to remove the mats that were down to her skin.  She is also a manx (breed without tail) so she hops around like a bunny.  Very cute.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Odin is an extrovert who is friendly and likes to be where everyone else is.  Being in this current cage cramps his style, and he is patiently relaxing in it until someone comes and takes him to his Forever Home.  He looks like a stand-in for the character “Deuteronomy” in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Cats” but don’t let that rough exterior and the gimpy ear put you off--he's a great cat!   Odin loves pets, attention, being brushed and hanging out with you.  Favorite snack is rotisserie chicken!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Nathan is a cute boy with quite the story- he is a Fancy Cat originally from Saudi Arabia! Nathan is very affectionate, loves sitting in laps, and playing with other cats. He is very gentle as well. Gia is an exceptionally sweet, loving, and cuddly 1-1.5-year-old female cat. She is also very playful. She loves other cats and kittens and is close to Phoenix. I got ginger from a friend who had rescued her from a really bad situation I’ve had her for about a year now but I had gotten her when I had my own place life unfortunately happened and I had to leave my place and come back home I live with my grandparents now and they are severely allergic to cats she has been staying with my best friend for a few months now I’ve tried other people but I have no more options at this point she is an amazing cat sweetest girl ever when she’s finally comfortable definitely will be in your personal space bubble she does like to hide at first but she has had a hard life before me so she still needs some trust work she is house trained I’m not sure how old she is

Sylvie is a 2 year old mixed breed long hair cat (Siberian, Somali, Bengal, Maine Coon according to cat scanner app). She’s a shy girl and would probably take some adjusting to a new place, and may hide for a while at first until she gets used to it. She mostly comes for pets when you’re in bed or on the couch, and loves them. She’s such a sweetie once she adjusts and is very low maintenance and well behaved/potty trained. She’s never scratched or been nasty to anyone even if she’s not happy with what you’re doing. I cannot keep her because I work on ships and no longer have someone to look after her when I’m away
