Maine Coon kittens & cats in Annapolis, Maryland

Missy (f) is a beautiful Maine Coon mix who found herself living alone and in need of a new person to love when her senior, human dad passed away. She will take a minute to warm up to you but will quickly become your best friend. Missy is 5 years old and the perfect age if you are looking for a kitty who is playful but not high energy. She is talkative but not excessively. Missy also has perfect potty manners. Our gorgeous fluffy lady has lots of love to give to the lucky person or family who adopters her. We think Missy would do best in a quiet home as an only fur companion. ##2357057##

Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Sage is a gorgeous one-year-old longhaired cat who was left in a cage outside of a rural shelter in Virginia and very quickly became a shelter favorite before landing in one of our foster homes here in Washington, DC. She continues to amaze everyone she meets here with her calm confidence and friendly demeanor. Whoever adds this sweetie to their family will be very lucky! Sage is done with her kitten vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and has wonderful litterbox manners. The adoption fee for this kitten is $175, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. She was rescued from an abusive and traumatic household, and while she has made progress, her past has understandably left her with lasting fear and anxiety. I already had another cat, and unfortunately, the two have not been able to coexist peacefully. Due to her fear-based responses, she has become reactive. That said, she has the capacity for deep affection and loyalty. Once she chooses her person, she forms a strong, loving bond and becomes incredibly devoted. She would do best in a quiet, stable environment as the only pet in the household, with someone patient and compassionate who can provide her the time, space, and security she needs to truly thrive.

Please meet paisley. She’s a great cat and catches bugs. Shes low maintenance and would want to cuddle once in a while. She loves playing with the dogs and thinks she’s one of them. She’s not happy with the new baby and we are looking for someone who is looking for a low maintenance companion.
