Maybelle came to us after being rehomed from a very busy household with three Great Danes and two other cats. While everyone had good intentions, that environment was overwhelming for her and unfortunately left a lasting impact on her confidence and anxiety. Because of this, Maybelle thrives in calm, predictable spaces and is looking for a quiet forever home where she can finally feel safe and settled. She would do best as the only pet in the home and is not a good fit for households with dogs, other cats, or children. Her ideal adopter would be an experienced cat owner who understands feline anxiety, respects boundaries, and is willing to let trust develop at her pace. A single person or quiet couple with a low-traffic home would be perfect. If you're looking for a quiet companion, appreciate a cat with a big personality, and understand that trust is earned rather than expected, Maybelle may be your perfect match. Patient adopters will discover a truly loving and loyal companion.

She is quiet, shy and peaceful. We have three dogs and she gets nervous and won’t leave her room. She would be great in a home with calm dogs. Gets along with our other cats and doesn’t require much attention. She has never been outside of the house & just needs someone who will give her the attention she deserves.
