Story
Cleo is a very playful and loving kitty!  He is a very hungry, growing boy, loves to cuddle and likes to be close to his human.  Will nap on his foster mom's desk while she woks.  Gets along well with cats and dogs. PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you!  Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion.  Please note these are not pedigree animals and we have no way of attesting if any of them are hypoallergenic and as such cannot adopt to homes with allergies. ##2369576##

Story
Faye is a sweet, sociable, smart, and playful young cat. She loves to be near her people. She is extremely curious and likes to inspect any new thing brought to her. She enjoys talking and will have full conversations when engaged. She is very active and will run and jump for a long time while playing, and is very athletic. Faye can become overstimulated and become aggressive when she plays but is learning to redirect her aggression onto her toys. Her high energy will make her a good cat for an experienced cat owner without children. She gets along with the dog and cat in her foster home, but can be selective about other animals if they are nervous around her. She loves to be brushed and is learning to tolerate nail trims. She requires daily brushing to prevent mats due to her triple coat. This beauty just needs someone to love her and give her a second chance.   Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. The adoption policies and applications can be found at the following links: https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-cat and https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-dog. Email us at  adoption@fancycats.org for general questions about our rescued cats. Email us at dogadoptions@fancycats.org for general questions about our rescued dogs. See our calendar of adoption events at https://fancycats.org/(scroll towards bottom) You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. Story
Smokey is a purebred Siberian registered with TICA. I adopted him 3 years ago when he was 2. I’m allergic but can tolerate cats with low levels of Fel d1 protein in their saliva, like Siberians. He’s an inside cat and isn't a fan of traveling. He’s smart and pretty active but is a little calmer and more affectionate since he turned 5. He is a samurai about mice and bugs. Many people think he’s a Maine Coon but he’s smaller at 13 lbs. Smokey is very sociable, doesn't like to be alone for more than a day, and is where I am a lot of the time. He's vocal but not excessively so. He generally cares nothing about other cats, but he LOVES dogs! He grew up with a Dachshund until I adopted him. I was recently diagnosed with several medical conditions that make it necessary to rehome my boy. Because he is so sociable and loves dogs, I want him to be adopted by someone who has a dog so he will have a furry friend. He will need to meet your dog before the adoption can be completed.
