Shaggy has been trustworthy with his house manners and appreciates the comforts of home life rather than constant activity. He’ll need an experienced owner who understands that some dogs simply thrive best with patience, routine, and gentle care. Shaggy was found to have low thyroid levels which is likely the cause of his thin coat and dry skin. Now that he is being treated, he is already feeling and looking much better. His adopter will need to continue his care with a daily thyroid pill. For someone seeking a loyal, quiet companion to share calm days and steady affection, Shaggy has so much love to give.

Shaggy is a ShihTzu-Cocker Spaniel mix (our best guess of breeds) who was was born approximately 12-25-15 and weighs 28 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
