Story
Are you or your family looking for a spunky little companion that will be your inseparable shadow for every activity? Malla could be that special little dog. Part Silky Terrier, she wants nothing more than to be your lapdog and escort for the rest of your life. She loves attention, and dances around when her humans come home. She is fabulous with kids over 5 (more attention) and could take or leave other dogs (humans are clearly her favorite!). She is obsessed with cucumbers!! Malla was rescued from a local shelter where she came in as a stray. She weighs about 8 pounds and is about 5 years old. When the vet spayed her, they thought that she had previously had puppies. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
