🌶️ Meet Chilli 🌶️

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Chilli might be your perfect match. This lovable little lady is a true shadow dog — always following her favorite person around and making it very clear when she’s ready for hugs, cuddles, or to be picked up (her signature move is gently scratching at your legs to ask!).
Chilli is currently thriving in a foster home with young children and a cat, and she’s been wonderful with both. She’s friendly and relaxed when meeting strangers, whether inside the home or out and about, and she loves when people stop to pet her.
She’s got great house manners too! Chilli is housebroken, crate trained, and great on leash — no pulling here, although she will bark at other dogs when she sees them. At night, she happily walks into her crate on her own when told “go to sleep.” She knows stay, drop it, come, and is working on sit (she understands it… she just doesn’t always feel like holding it — fair enough!).
Chilli’s favorite things include:
Sleeping (expert-level napper)
Being held or sitting on laps
Cuddle time (lots of it!)
Walks and playing chase
Meeting people and soaking up attention
She’s very relaxed overall and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she loves being out with her people rather than crated frequently. One thing to note: Chilli is not into dog toys at all — but towels, beds, paper, boxes, or anything left on the floor? Those are her true treasures. Because of this, she’d do best in a home without very young kids who tend to leave toys around.
Chilli hasn’t been tested with other dogs yet, but she’s open to meeting one during a proper meet-and-greet.
Her foster will miss her deeply — especially her cuddles, her tenderness, and the quiet way she fills a home with love. Chilli is the kind of dog who doesn’t demand much, just a warm lap, a gentle hand, and a human to adore.
