💅 MISS VICKI | Furry Frenchie. Tiny Diva. Backyard Hater. 💅
Meet Miss Vicki, an adorable furry Frenchie who has moved into foster care, assessed the situation, and begun issuing notes.
First, the positives—and there are LOTS.
Miss Vicki is an absolute lover. She’s sweet, affectionate, low-maintenance and ridiculously easy to have around. She’s great on leash, LOVES going for walks, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Her current canine roommate is our boy Geyser, and the two are doing great together.
Basically, if you want to put her little harness on and parade her around the neighborhood like the fuzzy potato princess she is, Miss Vicki is IN.
The backyard, however?
⭐ ZERO STARS.
Would not recommend.
Management will be hearing from her.
Miss Vicki currently hates her foster family’s backyard with the fiery passion of a woman who did not ask to go camping. She’ll hide, sit by the door and patiently wait for everyone to come to their senses and let her back inside.
Because of her ongoing boycott of Yard™, potty training is still a work in progress. She’s mostly got it, but accidents happen—particularly when the alternative involves stepping foot into that godforsaken backyard.
She also has some feelings about being crated when her people leave. Interestingly, she’ll happily snooze in her crate while Foster Mom works nearby. It’s not the crate that offends her.
It’s the AUDACITY OF YOU LEAVING.
At night she sleeps outside the crate, and during the day she’s perfectly content hanging out in it when her human is home. Her foster family is continuing to work with her on being comfortable alone and building that confidence.
Overall, Miss Vicki is a sweet, sassy, affectionate little character who loves walks, loves dogs, loves her people and has already completely charmed her foster family.
Her requirements are fairly simple:
💗 Walkies
💗 Dog friends
💗 Snuggles
💗 A human willing to continue working on potty training and alone-time skills
💗 Absolutely no expectation that she develop a passion for backyard recreation anytime soon
Her foster mom says, “We just love her.”
And considering Miss Vicki appears to be running the household already, we suspect the feeling was mandatory.
