Story
Meet Primrose! This teeny tiny sugar cube would be enchanted to meet you 💜Primrose is a two year old shih tzu mix and she's full grown at...8lbs. That's it. She's like a teeny tiny dollop of buttercream frosting or the smallest scoop of whipped cream imaginable. This gal would fit into almost any home. She's good on a leash (though it's hard to be BAD on a leash when you weigh less than a cantaloupe) but can get underfoot sometimes so probably not ideal for people with balance issues unless they want to get intimately acquainted with the grass. She's an expert at happy wiggles and is definitely a social butterfly; if you've got time to love on her, you're perfect in her book.Primrose does well with other dogs and with cats though does get a little spooked if another dog is super rambunctious. She's also understandably leery of things a lot bigger than her so similar sized dogs would be preferred. Dog-friendly cats only, please...or at least cats that won't see her as just a cotton ball with eyes. Kids 12+ because she is small and kids can be A LOT. She doesn't know any cues right now...or at least is being shy about it. She likes chasing toys but hasn't quite mastered the art of the whole "bringing the ball back" thing during a game of fetch. Her only red flag? The vet turns her into a holy terror and suddenly you'll understand "nightmare dressed as a daydream" on a personal level whether you like it or not. Any OTHER kind of handling? She loves it! Being picked up, held, pet, whatever. But if it involves medical work? Nope.To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application.
