Meet Charlie! Charlie is 2 years old and likely is a Shih Tzu mix. He as found as a stray. Charlie can be nervous at first but warms up to you! One of his favorite things is getting a butt scratch! He could join homes with kids 10+, other dogs, and cats. He will need grooming on a regular basis.He is available for meeting and adoption at the Humane Society South Coast at 31 Ventura Drive. Meet Coco! Coco is a sweet little guy and all he really wants in life is a family of his own and a lap to sleep on. He’s previously lived with another dog, RJ, and they could be adopted together or separately. We are accepting applications for our Wookie Arri! Having this boy has been nothing but smiles, laughter and joy. He is a sweet, snuggly and such a good boy. He is wonderful with people, kids and other dogs. We would not consider him for homes who have cats, not because he will eat them, but because he wants to bark at them continuously. He is 5 years old 9 lbs and was hit by a car in RI. He had a repaired, ruptured bladder, which healed wonderfully, and his pelvis which was broken will eventually heal in time per the Dr. We have 40 page vet records. So we are looking for a low-key home without a lot of stairs and can pick him up in and out of the house for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Arri should never be able to jump on and off a bed or a couch to prevent future problems. He has a neuter appt that will be done in Providence,RI soon. HE DOES NOT NEED BRACES! lol He is PERFECT! You'll have a playful sidekick who loves being by your side.  Gizmo is a fetch master and could probably teach a class or two! he also enjoys short walks and has plenty of playful energy, while still appreciating the comforts of home. Most of all Gizmo loves being around his people and wants to be part of the action. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. He has not been tested with cats. Gizmo is housebroken as well!   Gizmo is looking for someone who has the patience to give him the time he needs to build trust at his own pace.
