Story
Meet Leo — the spitfire you didn’t know you needed in your life.
Around here, we sometimes call him “The Sheriff.” Leo likes to keep an eye on everything that’s going on and prefers things to be orderly, but he’s never pushy or aggressive. He’s simply a confident little guy who likes to know what’s happening and be part of the action.
Leo is curious, brave, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he’s exploring the yard, accompanying you on a walk, or supervising household activities, he approaches life with enthusiasm and confidence. He’s friendly with everyone he meets and carries himself like he owns the place—in the most charming way possible.
Despite his adventurous spirit, Leo knows how to relax when the day is done. After his shift as Sheriff, his favorite place is curled up next to his person, soaking up affection and enjoying a well-earned cuddle.
Leo also has excellent house manners. He’s house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is friendly and well-behaved in public. He’s the kind of dog who can join you on an outing and then happily settle in at home afterward.
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a big personality, a sense of adventure, and a soft spot for snuggles, Leo may just be your perfect match. ❤️
If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt.
Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period.
If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.
