This sweet girl is always happy and ready to go wherever her people go — she’s your classic “Velcro pup” who just wants to be part of every adventure. When Nori first came into rescue, she was severely matted and had to be fully shaved down for her comfort and health. Despite that rough start, her spirit never dimmed. She handled it like a champ and is now feeling so much better and loving life! Her beautiful coat will continue to grow back with proper grooming and care. She would do wonderfully in a home where she can be loved, cherished, and included as a true family member. Story
Maggie is a very sweet 10 year old Shih Tzu but a puppy at heart. Maggie loves human attention and also loves to play and be outside. I took her in as her old owner did not have the time for a dog anymore. Maggie would thrive in a home with someone who is home or has people home often. She would also do best in a house with a yard that is easily accessible. She is house trained and very well behaved. She does not bark and has shown absolutely no signs of aggression. Maggie does have high anxiety. She does not do well during thunderstorms and has taken anti anxiety medications for it. She also is afraid of washing machines. During times I am doing laundry I will often take her on a walk. Overall Maggie is an amazing companion. Anyone that wants a partner to do everything with should definitely consider taking this sweet girl in.
