Story
Meet Bunnie Jean
Breed: Skye Terrier
Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge
Age: Golden Oldie
Weight: 12 lbs
Fun fact: Bunnie Jean lives up to her name, she can’t help but hop when she’s happy!
Foster home: Chicago, IL
Activity level: Moderate
Friendly with: dogs and adults, because she can’t see or hear, she would not be a good fit for a home with small children
Sleep style: Snuggled in a cozy dog bed, loves to sleep there overnight and for naps
Meals: Kibble twice daily, she’s not a picky eater and prefers to eat alone if living with other dogs (she may try to sample all bowls as a self identified taste-tester)
Bark-o-meter: 2/10, rarely barks
Shedding meter: 2/10, she will need regular grooms
Fashion: A Snuggie so she can be cozy all day
Signature color/pattern: Bunnie Jean looks great in ALL colors, she’s gorgeous!
Best feature: Hard to pick between her always wagging tail or her adorable tongue sticking out
Walk out song: Pocket Full Of Sunshine - Natasha Bedingfield
Favorite season: She likes all the seasons and loves a sunny day, rain makes her hair straggly (same girl!)
Personality: Excited, sweet, happy
❤️s: Sunny days, naps, mealtime
Bucket list item: To be a grocery store greeter, just loves to say hello!
Bunnie Jean has lived a tough life and is looking to enjoy her “Forever Home Era”. This sweet and beautiful girl is happy despite of her past and doesn’t let her lack of vision (no eyes) or hearing get her down. She’s a joy in her foster home and loves being near other dogs. A dog in the home to show her the ropes would be great, but not required. Because she doesn’t notify her foster when she needs to go out, she may have accidents but is also good about going potty outside when taken out.
