Story
This super senior deserves nothing but love, and as much as he has received from our family at SFTS he's ready to share right back with a forever family of his own! Gob came to us in rough shape, after being found by the staff at MADACC. He required months of rehabilitation, a few surgeries, and a whole lotta TLC from his foster family but Gob is now ready for adoption! We couldn't be happier for this old man, and hope you'll consider opening your heart to this sweet soul. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/adoptableanimals

Story
Cabbage has had a rough first few years, and it shows. She came to us as a puppy mill release and is very nervous and distrusting of humans. We've been working slowly with her, and using the help of other dogs to help her build her confidence. But Cabbage will need a very understanding, patient home who is willing to give her time to decompress and come out of her shell. Cabbage is a "teddy bear around 5 years old, is crate trained, and dog friendly. Please consider giving this girl a chance at love and happiness! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
Meet Rita! Oh, hello! My name is Rita, a short and sweet name, just like my stature. My name means "pearl," a great rarity of worth, and I think that describes me quite well. As a senior lady who can't see or hear too well anymore, I might need to be picked up and carried places, and I will never tell you not to hold me. Being just 8 pounds, I'd be easy enough for you to take me with you wherever you'd like. I do well with other dogs of all sizes and make them friends quite quickly. Since I'm such a small gal and quite vision impaired, small children wouldn't be ideal in my forever home. I go potty outside, like a true lady, and I've learned the lay of the land in my foster home quite quickly, so I know I can do it again in my forever home! I recently went to the vet, and they said my kidneys aren't super great, so now I have special food for my special body, and that's all! No medicine. Just keep an eye on my levels. The dogtor said I'm otherwise very healthy! I enjoy going for car rides and sit nicely without moving all about. I love being with my humans, especially when we can snuggle together. I'm looking for my forever family where I'm free to give my love and get the same in return. If you think you could do that for me, I'm ready to go home with you! *Rita is being fostered in the Palmyra, WI area.
