Story
* Independent and curious * Likes other dogs* Enjoy chasing things* Can be untrusting of humans* Doesn't like leashes * Needs a five-foot fenced yard * Best in a home without children under the age of 14Meet Flash, an eight-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier with a confident and independent spirit. While he's still learning to trust people and understand their kindness, Flash prefers to navigate the world on his own terms. His curiosity shines when exploring the outdoors, finding joy in chasing things and discovering the thrill of toys. Although not a fan of leashes, Flash's playful nature emerges when surrounded by other dogs during outdoor playtime. A 5-foot fence is recommended to keep him secure, as he is not yet leash trained. Flash needs a patient family willing to nurture his confidence at his own pace and demonstrate that humans can be trustworthy. Despite his initial reservations, Flash has the potential to become a fine friend for anyone who adopts him, although he is best suited for a home without young children.----Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. Because some of our dogs are very under socialized, they may not be a good fit for young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. Story
This absolutely kills me and i have been crying non stop while writing this post. My 6yr old neutered jack Russell terrier is needing a new home. He is extremely protective and very loyal. He is house trained, loves to cuddle and loves to sleep on the bed. He absolutely loves balls, especially racquet balls. The not so good- he does not do well with other dogs, strangers and small children. He does good on a leash but will bark at everything and everybody even though he has been leashed trained since he was a puppy. The reason we are rehoming is he has become more aggressive with our senior dog. They have been raised together since he was a puppy, however, over the last few years he has been getting mean and aggressive towards our senior dog. Lucas really needs to be the only dog. He is truly a love bug and loves to cuddle and be by your side 24-7.

Buttercup is a 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She loves kids, and is good with other animals. She comes with lots of energy. Loves to jump, play with her ball, and tease the cat. She does not have a mean bone in her body. She talks a lot and is very entertaining. She needs tender loving care and patience, as she can be a bit shy. She loves to snuggle at night.
