Like many smart little terriers, he can be a bit cautious and defensive when meeting new people. New environments can make him unsure at first — but give him a little patience and kindness, and you’ll quickly see his true personality shine. Once Russell warms up, he transforms into a sweet, affectionate, and very playful companion. He loves to have fun, show off his goofy side, and soak up attention from his trusted people. Underneath that initially shy exterior is a loyal little shadow who just wants to feel safe and loved. Russell is looking for a forever family who will give him a little time to settle in and understand that trust is something he builds thoughtfully.
