Story
Beautiful Daphne is a 7 year old Snowshoe affectionate lady who loves to hang around and be close by. Daphne's favorite activities are purring and making biscuits! Her coat, face markings, & ocean colored eyes are stunning. She is looking for a quiet, peaceful, loving home, where she can enjoy all the great things in life in a relaxed setting. She does not enjoy cats, dogs or children so she will have to be your "only child". Daphne lives at a wonderful foster home but will be in the shelter on Saturday 2/21 from 10-4 pm to meet you!!! If you can't make it then, you can still schedule a meet and greet! If you are interested in meeting Daphne, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form and enter her name as the cat you are interested in, Then please email the cat foster coordinator, Jessica Riley to arrange the meet up- Jessica@azfriends.orgPlease note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Zachary is a Snowshoe Siamese. He is very chill and enjoys lounging and being with people. He likes being petted and rubs against people's legs for attention. He loves interactive toys, like the Cat Dancer. He is friendly, sweet and affectionate. He would be a nice companion for someone who works from home. He is quiet and will just hang out on the desk or in the room. He would do best in a quiet home as an only cat and no young children in the home. Approx. DOB: 9/26/22 If you would like to meet Zach, please go to https://hart-az.org/hart-cats-for-adoption-1 and fill out an application. If approved, we will contact you to set up a time for a meet and greet.

Story
Abby is a long-haired tortie and Siamese (Snowshoe) beauty with big, blue, cartoon-innocent eyes and face markings worthy of a modern artist. She sports white socks on all four paws, complete with tiny tufts of fur between her mixed toe beans. Abby knows her name and  definitely  understands the power of Feline Greenies catnip treats - she’s very likely to purr if offered anywhere from one to eight. Once she feels safe and settled (treats help!), she enjoys string toys, the laser pointer and gentle play. She’s also a social eater who prefers to dine with an admiring audience nearby. Sensitive to loud or unfamiliar noises, Abby may hide at first, but she truly wants affection and connection. With patience and consistency, she becomes a devoted companion. Her meow is soft and sweet, and once she trusts you, she becomes a “dolphin cat,” popping up on her hind legs to ask for pets. She’ll thrive with someone who seeks her out for love and brushes her beautiful coat regularly. Abby is gentle and patient and does well with calm, respectful kids. She’s chill with other cats, hasn’t met dogs yet and integrates with friendly cats or kittens with time and proper introductions following KKR guidance. Abby came to Kneading Kitty’s Rescue due to her previous person’s declining health and deep love for her. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on vaccines (including rabies), and FELV/FIV negative. Are you ready to welcome sweet Abby home? Her adoption fee is $350.   We are not accepting online applications for this kitty. They are located at our PetSmart Adoption Center at 16257 N. Scottsdale Rd.  Please proceed there to fill out an application onsite.    February 6, 2026, 5:34 pm

Story
Stay puft has been with my Dad for about 10 or 11 years. My dad is terminally ill with cancer now and can no longer care for stay puft unfortunately. He is a beautiful cat, is not aggressive at all but is a bit skittish. We need to find a re-home for the little guy.

Story
Approximate Date of Birth: 07/01/2022 Description:  Watch sweet Kai making biscuits via YouTube! Simply copy/paste this link: https://youtube.com/shorts/cjwyYPz8RVc I'm the loveliest fluff you ever have seen. I will follow you everywhere to see what you are doing. If you are working, cooking or cleaning, I will always be next to you. I will cuddle with you on the bed, if you allow me. I’m the best sidekick you will ever know. I’m open to having more siblings but a slow introduction is best. I might hiss at first, but I won’t hurt anyone. I’m not scared of strange people visiting the house. I will come running to greet all guests. Side note: I have a congenital illness that is out of my control. I cannot eliminate feces (poop) by myself. I need to use Miralax daily to help me empty my bowels. When I can empty my tummy, I’m a big happy girl running around. Please be aware that I cannot control my bowels and may have accidents. Please understand I will need your help to keep me clean and happy. Cleaning my own backend has proven problematic in the past and caused me lots of pain (ask my foster-mama for the story) and trust me, I don't want to go through that again. Even though my foster-mama loves me very much, is very patient with me and cleans me all the time she would love to help me find a place to call HOME. I want my own home where all (or most) of the attention would be for me. Words to Describe Me: Loving. Active. Curious. Goofy Favorite Place to Sleep: Same bed as you. But most of the time I will be in the kennel.  Favorite Toy: Pet collar with specific bell sound. Perfect Day: She loves roaming around the house checking everything out. Kitty's Likes: Chin scratches, head petting, play time. Kitty's Dislikes: Getting her booty cleaned. Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Yummy treats. Favorite Treat: Tiki, Squeeze up, Churu. Job Title in Foster: Bathroom Attendant When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: Dandelion (my body looks like that when I'm on my back) Good with Cats:   Likes cats given a proper introduction.  Good with Dogs:   Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met a dog). Good with Children:   Loves all children. Companion Animal: Not required.  Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Applications can be submitted on our website at  www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Sabertooth,  an 8-year-old flame point Siamese with movie-star looks and the most chill personality you’ll ever meet. Despite my fierce name, I’m really just a laid-back, loving guy who’s happiest when I’m close to my people.   I don’t have any teeth, but don’t worry—I do just fine and it hasn’t slowed me down one bit. What I do have is an endless supply of affection. I love to cuddle, love to sleep with you, and will gladly be your constant companion wherever you are.   I get along wonderfully with other cats, kids, and dogs, making me an easy, go-with-the-flow addition to just about any home. Calm, sweet, and incredibly loving, I’m truly an all-around amazing boy.   If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will fill your home with warmth, comfort, and quiet companionship, I’m your guy.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Thank you for considering rescuing an animal in need!     February 5, 2026, 9:25 am
