Meet Cali and Tommy! Two devoted seven-and-a-half-year-old feline friends currently living in Augusta, GA, who’ve spent the past five years side by side. Cali, a delicate Snowshoe mix with a soft blend of chocolate brown, white, and tan, and Tommy, a charming tuxedo Domestic Short Hair with a heart full of affection. These two have lived peacefully side by side for the past five years, and now find themselves in need of new loving homes after their devoted pet parent passed away unexpectedly. These two are ready to embrace indoor comfort, either as a pair or in separate loving homes that match their unique personalities. Cali is the quiet soul of the duo. Shy, observant, and graceful! She prefers to watch the world from a cozy spot, taking her time to build trust and comfort in her surroundings. Though she may not seek out attention right away, she absolutely enjoys being brushed and combed, often leaning in with appreciation when it's done gently. Cali thrives in calm, quiet environments and would be most comfortable in a home without dogs, other cats (aside from Tommy), or young children. A patient and understanding caregiver will find joy in the small but meaningful ways Cali expresses her trust. She may not ask for affection, but when she chooses you, it’s a gift! She’s in good health, with the exception of a heart murmur, which simply means she’ll need a bit of extra mindfulness in her care. Tommy, on the other hand, is the social butterfly! Confident, playful, and endlessly affectionate. He follows his humans like a shadow, tagging along for walks to the mailbox or lounging in your lap while you sit outside. He loves brushing time, playing with anything on a string, and especially trying to sneak inside for a sunny nap. One of his most endearing habits is sitting on the windowsill and meowing sweetly through the glass, as if he’s asking, “May I come in, please?” Tommy would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of love, lap time, and indoor coziness. Rescued from the county shelter, adopted, and then returned through no fault of her own, she has faced every hardship with quiet strength and a heart that still chooses love. Despite everything she’s been through—surviving the streets, enduring neglect, and becoming a mother while she was still a kitten herself—Sunshine remains sweet, affectionate, and deeply trusting. Her body carries the marks of her past, but her spirit is bright, playful, and unbroken. Sunshine gets along well with other cats and is tolerant of dogs, making her a wonderful match for many types of homes. She loves gentle affection, interactive play, and the comfort of a safe, stable environment where she can finally relax and be cherished. Sunshine is considered a special‑needs kitty, but her care is far more manageable than her history might suggest. She was previously on daily liver medication, but she has since been successfully weaned off her meds and is now thriving on a mix of raw and wet food. To keep her feeling her best, she does need semi‑annual labwork to monitor her liver values. With this simple routine, she can continue living a happy, healthy life. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and easygoing — the kind of cat who settles into your life like he’s always belonged there. He enjoys gentle affection, loves being near his people, and gets along wonderfully with other cats, making him a great fit for multi‑cat homes. Vivaldi is FIV+, but this doesn’t stop him from living a full, healthy, happy life. Cats with FIV can live just as long as other cats, and they can safely live with FIV‑negative cats as long as everyone gets along — which Vivaldi absolutely does. FIV simply means his immune system is a little more delicate, so he benefits from regular vet care, a stable home, and lots of love. With his calm nature, affectionate spirit, and beautiful Siamese markings, Vivaldi is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a very lucky family.
