Meet Cali and Tommy! Two devoted seven-and-a-half-year-old feline friends currently living in Augusta, GA, who’ve spent the past five years side by side. Cali, a delicate Snowshoe mix with a soft blend of chocolate brown, white, and tan, and Tommy, a charming tuxedo Domestic Short Hair with a heart full of affection. These two have lived peacefully side by side for the past five years, and now find themselves in need of new loving homes after their devoted pet parent passed away unexpectedly. These two are ready to embrace indoor comfort, either as a pair or in separate loving homes that match their unique personalities. Cali is the quiet soul of the duo. Shy, observant, and graceful! She prefers to watch the world from a cozy spot, taking her time to build trust and comfort in her surroundings. Though she may not seek out attention right away, she absolutely enjoys being brushed and combed, often leaning in with appreciation when it's done gently. Cali thrives in calm, quiet environments and would be most comfortable in a home without dogs, other cats (aside from Tommy), or young children. A patient and understanding caregiver will find joy in the small but meaningful ways Cali expresses her trust. She may not ask for affection, but when she chooses you, it’s a gift! She’s in good health, with the exception of a heart murmur, which simply means she’ll need a bit of extra mindfulness in her care. Tommy, on the other hand, is the social butterfly! Confident, playful, and endlessly affectionate. He follows his humans like a shadow, tagging along for walks to the mailbox or lounging in your lap while you sit outside. He loves brushing time, playing with anything on a string, and especially trying to sneak inside for a sunny nap. One of his most endearing habits is sitting on the windowsill and meowing sweetly through the glass, as if he’s asking, “May I come in, please?” Tommy would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of love, lap time, and indoor coziness. Both cats are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Whether adopted together or separately, Cali and Tommy are ready to bring love, charm, and companionship into their next chapter. Mochi was found abandoned on the street as a wee little kitten, and she has now grown up to a big tubby 3 year old. Unfortunately, it has become difficult to keep her due to behavioral issues. She is quite an anxious cat and any loud unknown noises will set her off in either a fight or flight mode. However, she is very sweet in her own special ways. She despises being held and sometimes will allow for you to pet her if she's feeling generous. Whomever she gets attached to she will follow around and stay by your side (a 2 foot distance at least). She enjoys playing in short bursts, whether it be pretend hunting/chasing or with small toys. Although her idea of a toy is a household item like a pen or anything that is easy for her to push around the house, while the cat toy will lay untouched in the corner. She's a special little cat that you will come to love.
