Hi! I’m TORY (DOB: ~01/30/2024), a petite female Snowshoe mix. I apparently grew up in a cat colony and was TNR’d as you can tell by my left clipped ear. FFRS agreed to accept me into their adoption program in order to work on socialization and find me an appropriate home where I could live a safe life inside out of the elements. I am very shy so I need to go to a home with a family who will be patient with me, can live with me as a semi-socialized cat, and give me lots of time to learn to trust them. I am a good girl and would love a chance to be someone’s cherished pet. But just be careful, because I can be a FLIGHT RISK! I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $150.00.October 9, 2025, 3:35 pm

We got Walter 11 years ago as a kitten from Petland, who originally told us Walter was a boy. We didn't find out until months later that he was a she, but by then his name was her name. We don't think she minds too much, though. She's very affectionate and often articulate; a Snowshoe trait. She can be timid around new people at first, but quickly warms up and becomes curious. After 12 years of pet ownership, it's no longer something we want, so we want Walter to go to a good home who will give her the attention and quality of care she deserves which we aren't able to give. We have had issues with hygiene, but this would be remedied with proper diet. Her and our other cat no longer get along. She's very energetic and playful, but we will be moving back to a small apartment and we admittedly aren't great about playing often. Given the right toy, she will entertain herself for a long while, but we know this hasn't been enough. Litter box, litter, food, beds, toys, cat tree provided.

Our hearts hurt for Churchill. He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 2/9. Churchill is 13 years young and weighs in at 11 pounds. He has a lovely white coat with flame point ears. His eyes are a dreamy light blue. He really deserves to be in a loving home where he can snooze in a sunny window and nap in a fluffy bed. Do you have a heart for a mature boy? Ask for ID# 16862 Cage 694. He is neutered and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
