Mahjong is a striking little queen with the quiet confidence of a winning hand. Like the game she’s named for, she’s all about timing, elegance, and knowing exactly when to make her move. She doesn’t demand attention—she collects it, tile by tile, until you realize she’s completely won you over.
A Snowshoe beauty with soft, short fur like mink and delicate lynx point markings still coming in, Mahjong is only going to grow more stunning with time. Her coloring is already breathtaking, and by the time her points fully develop, she’ll be nothing short of extraordinary.
Her personality matches her looks—regal, poised, and just a touch discerning. Mahjong tends to choose her people carefully, forming close, affectionate bonds, while still graciously allowing guests to admire her. She’s social and confident, simply selective in the most charming way.
When it comes to play, Mahjong is all in. She loves a good chase, excels at feather wand acrobatics, and treats springs and toys like prized tiles to be skillfully pursued and captured. She also enjoys a good wrestling match with her fellow kittens—always playful, never unkind.
Her favorite place in the world? Fresh, warm laundry straight out of the dryer. If there’s a pile, Mahjong will find it and claim it as her throne. When that’s not available, she’ll happily stretch out in a sunbeam, soaking up warmth with quiet contentment.

She has been socialized with men, women, older children, and other cats, and she moves through her world with calm confidence. While she hasn’t met dogs yet, her foster family believes she would adjust well to a gentle, cat-friendly pup. Mahjong does best with companionship and will need to be placed in a home with another cat—either one of her littermates, Chess, Charm, Domino or a friendly resident feline who can match her social nature. She will also do well with considerate children who understand and respect her queenly ways.
