Story
Meet MeiSu: The Shy Guy Who’ll Steal Your Heart MeiSu is a striking brown-and-white gentleman with the cutest slightly cross-eyed gaze and the most entertaining little meows. At six years old, he’s a quiet, thoughtful boy whose beauty and gentle presence draw you in almost immediately. MeiSu is very shy and will do best in a calm household with a patient, experienced adopter who understands fearful kitties and is willing to let trust grow at his pace. He is currently apprehensive about touch, but with consistency and kindness, he shows glimpses of the affectionate cat he’s becoming. When he feels safe, he purrs softly and makes biscuits in his bed: sweet moments that show how far he’s come. Playtime is where MeiSu truly shines. He loves feather wand toys, happily bats around catnip mice, and enjoys watching Cat TV on YouTube. He also likes to sit a few feet away from his person, quietly keeping you company while you watch TV, work or read.  MeiSu has experienced significant changes in his life, and learning to trust again will take time—but his curiosity, playfulness, and sweetness are always there beneath the surface. His foster will deeply miss the special moments when MeiSu opens up, accepts gentle pets, and lets his guard down just enough to share his love. MeiSu has been fostered with small dogs and has done well with them. He could be a solo cat or live with a calm, confident feline companion. Older children could be a good fit as long as they understand that patience is essential. MeiSu’s superpower is quietly stealing your heart with his beauty and resilience. If you believe the most rewarding relationships are the ones built slowly and with care, MeiSu may be the cat you’ve been waiting for.
