Story
Miss is a very special girl. She was given to me during Covid. She’s about 4 years old now. I was told she was a white cat, she came with a large black spot on her nose, and developed more color over time! Now her fur pattern is similar to a snowshoe/siamese cat. Not sure of her exact breed. She’s sassy, kinda lazy, and very vocal, will talk back when she doesn’t agree with a command. She’s kinda dopey - will try to eat rubber bands and likes eating crunchy greens!? Will always come running if you call her. I’ve been told she acts like a dog - though she won’t go outside. She’s HUGE and likes to cuddle. She can get overstimulated from aggressive petting. She likes being brushed, which is great because she is a shedder. I’m giving her up because I work full time now - and I’ve been neglecting her brushing, playtime, and she wants more from me, which I can’t provide right now. Taking care of her has been overwhelming, and I want her to have a loving home where she isn’t a burden.

Story
Adopt Lei from South Jersey 2 years old · Female · Snowshoe kitkatplayroom.com/adopt If you’re looking for a cat who talks back, look no further — Lei has thoughts, and she’s not shy about sharing them. She has a full range of vocal commentary for every part of her day, from grumbling at the morning light to chirping for dinner. You’ll always know exactly where she stands on everything, especially if it involves food, play, or a new package appearing in her space. Lei is an attention magnet — she needs to feel loved. She’ll meow until you give in, flop on her back with her belly up, and roll around in delight once the pets start. Whether she’s lounging beside you on the couch or chirping at chipmunks from the window (she’s quite proud of her pest-control skills), she’s happiest when she’s part of your daily life. She’s playful too — catnip toys, dangly strings, and breezy windows are her favorite things. Her soft, thick fur makes her a dream to snuggle, and she’ll keep you warm with more than just her cuddles — her big personality fills the room. Lei would do best in a home where she can be the center of someone’s world. She’s open to living with another cat as long as she gets a slow introduction and first dibs on your attention. Story
Gorgeous gal Birch is ready for her forever home! This 6-year-old Sealpoint Siamese is a very sweet and gentle cat who craves as much attention as she can get—she loves rolling over for belly rubs, cuddling with her humans, and sleeping in your bed at night. She also loves to play, especially with toy mice and feather toys. (She's not a jumper though, so your shelves are safe!) While Birch has not lived with other cats, she would likely do well with a feline companion due to her social nature. She sometimes gets a burst of energy around 5am (she doesn't realize this is when humans sleep!), but an automatic feeder or another cat should work as a distraction. Birch is also a great traveler and does well in planes and cars. Birch was originally adopted from PAWS back in 2021 and was previously found as a stray. Unfortunately, her family has had to make the heartbreaking decision to find her a new home due to worsening allergies. Birch has been so loved by her family, and they know that her next humans will be just as lucky to have her in their lives! Age: 6 years Animal ID#:  A48888 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter. Story
We found her outside our home and later that night listed her on our neighborhood page to see if she was lost. This gorgeous cat wasn’t missing but eventually we found out was pregnant. She had a litter of five adorable kittens. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep any of them. We successfully adopted out four of them. Laila was neutered and received all her shots in June 2025. She is over one year of age—very sweet and affectionate to people whether it’s a child, adult, or someone coming over to look after her when we were away. She likes to be in the room where everyone is gathered and enjoys being rubbed. She may be a cat who picks a human to be “hers”. She follows me quietly wherever I go and hangs by me. The downside is that she is not the easiest to feed—we’ve tried different brands but Royal Canine is the only food she was able to keep down—and she likes to knock down cups that are full. She will jump on counters and tables only to do that. She can be snappy for good reason.
