Story
Olive is a social cat that wants you to play and talk with her. She is smart and has learned to sit, high five, and pivot in exchange for a treat. She likes sitting next to you but does not like to cuddle. She does not like strangers or being left alone for too long. She also does not do well if you travel even when you get a pet sitter she’s familiar with. She does have a couple of health problems, feline herpesvirus, which is under control with food and a supplement. This virus is not contagious to dogs or humans but it is to other cats so she would need to be in a home where she’s the only cat. Unfortunately our home is not the best fit for her. We took her in after a friend moved. She thought she would do well with us but because we have teenagers and a busy family life she has started to exhibit some behavioral issues. She will use her litter box just fine but if we leave for a trip or our kids friends sleep over she will go outside her box.

Everyone meet Chowder! This sweet love bug will be sure to steal your heart. Chowder never fails to greet you at the door after a long day and beg for pets and cuddles. This 2 year old playful boy lovesss his stick toys and following you around the house! Sweet Chowder would be a great companion for someone who is a first time cat owner due to his easy going and well mannered attitude. He is a bit spicy around other kitties at first, but has shown to warm up very quickly and play amongst the others! Chowder loves to meet new people and steal all of the attention! Come and meet this beautiful blue-eyed boy, you’ll be sure to fall in love. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175. Story
Hi!! My name is Hades and I'm such a sweet boy who just wants to be close to my person for pets and snuggles. I love playing with toys and really love my treat ball and especially love food. My last few months were a bit rough. In January, I was 20 pounds and seemingly a healthy young boy. Now, I'm 11 pounds (up from 9.7) and diagnosed with diabetes. The only person I'd called my owner ended up needing to surrender me to Juanita Hills Animal Hospital in June and my new foster mom took me in until I can find a new amazing new family who has the time and means to help me through this next chapter of my life. I am currently on 4 units of insulin every 12 hours with my meals (currently a prescription diabetic formula food). My vet is hopeful that my diabetes was caused by my excess weight and can go into remission once my pancreas has had time to rest. The good news is that I have a clean bill of health outside of my diabetes and I can live a full long life even with the diabetes!
